Chapter 14: Dinner with the enemy
. I opened the door and looked around for Catherine. She must be in her room because I did not see her anywhere else. I knocked on the door and said "cate". She opened the door and said "what do you want". We're going to have a guest over tonight and I'm making sure you won't harm him" I said. Cate said" who". I said" you'll see". Then I went to the kitchen and started to cook.
I decided to make chicken and rice with my secret source that makes it my own. I heard a nock luckily I was almost done. I rushed to the door and opened it. He said " am I to early". I exclaimed " no, no your fine I was almost done with dinner anyway come in". I walked away and went back in the kitchen and finished up. Cate pulled me aside and asked me why I invited him...she seemed mad. I told her it was fine and he was cool.
I set the table and me, Cate and Patrick sat down and started to eat. We had some simple talk but I did not talk about my problem. We cleaned up and I took Patrick up to the roof to discuss the problem.
