Chapter 13: Going to the mall
Days later Cate walks over and turns off the tv. I gave her a dirty look . Cate said " you need to get back into your normal life style get off the couch and do something. I turned back on my "black magic radar" because Catherine was right as always.
I decided to go out and go to the mall. I got changed into a better outfit then underwear and a big t-shirt and grabbed my keys of the counter and walked to the mall. On my way I looked at all the buildings on both my sides and the city in the distance. When I got to the mall I went to my favorite shops that I like the most and about half were clothes shops. I really liked this one candy store that kinda reminds me of my home town because it is so bright and cheerful so I decided to go there first.
I was paying for my candy when I felt energy but my Radar was not going off so what ever it was, is not using magic so that is good. I left the candy store and started to close in on the energy and I noticed it was before energy. It was that one vampire that drank my blood, what is he doing at the mall on a average day like today.
I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder he turned around and once he saw me it looked like he turned into a week child, I'm not that scary. I said" I'm not here to fight you I'm just shopping and I saw you and wanted to make sure your lying low, you are right".
He said" I am I got used to my vampire life so I'm not bitting anyone anymore even if I'm a little tempted". I said" hey I don't know anyone else that could help me with a problem I'm dealing with so can you come over for dinner or something ". He said "but I'm your enemy". I said" remember me saying something about being allies come on we could even be friends ". He said "well ok what is the problem". I said "something about a spell and a witch that supposedly died". He said "well ok see you tonight make sure you tell your friend not to kill me when I do though".
I said" good idea I live in domino Dr about a mile from here, well bye for now". he said "I'm Patrick by the way here is my number". he gave me his number and I gave him mine. With that I walked away and went to a summer clothes and accessories store and bought a bracelet with the heart of the ocean in the center and then went to a couple other stores before heading home.
