Chapter 7: The school
After that we left. But my dad kept Cate for a moment to tell her something" I don't know if you have noticed but Victoria there is something wrong with her I sense something dark deep inside her trying to surface". Cate said" she has been acting a little strange lately but I'll keep a eye on her". Then they returned to the group and he all got ready for the celebration I have not worn a fancy flower gown in a while there so fragile but super pretty I planned on taking one with me when I left a few years back but it slipped my mind but it won't this time I'm taking one of these with me no matter what. And with that I joined every one at the party that lasted for most of the evening before I was escorted to one of the guests bedrooms late in the night.
The next day I woke up and ate a meal with my parents and yes Catherine was there we all ate and had a great meal. After that Cate and I went are seperate ways the generals insisted she would spend the day with them and tell them about the far off land of America and it's mistakes and help them with there upcoming battle. While I was going to a school and teaching children about the life of a princess and it's responsibilities. When I entered the school yard tons of children were outside with the teacher. The teacher said" miss. Victoria has arrived she is princess and heir to the Camille thrown she has been in a distant place fighting off monsters so all of you can live in peace".
All the children looked at me in awe and I was just standing there with a bunch of little monsters that are more vicious. then the real things. One of the children said" your the princess". A girl said" why is a princess a monster Hunter shouldn't you be here doing princess stuff". I said" actually it is a princess duty to help anyone in need that I can and I thought that doing that would be a great way to do that duty, and it was not easy to convince my parents to let me go those many years ago". A boy said" everyone has heard so much about you and your battles with our enemies". A girl said" your my hero I wanna be like you when I grow up".
I said"I'm not perfect don't grow up and be like me, grow each day bettering yourself more and more, be you be the best you, you can be".
They all pause in confusion then they all start chatting again. A girl said" I wanna be like you no Matter what". Another girl said" yeah I want to be like you". I looked at them astonished " did everything I just say fly in one ear and out the other". Mrs.Gowi said" I remember when you were young like them,you were such a good student ", She giggled the sighed" you know how old that makes me feel". I said "wait why do you still work shouldn't you be retired".
She said" well honestly I'm probably going to retire in the next year and go and see the rest of the world". I said" I hope you have a great retirement and I hope you find the outside world interesting because it definitely is".
One of the kings general walked in. I said "is it time to go already". The general said" I'm afraid so you have a lot of things on your schedule after all" . I said" well it is nice to meet you all be good for mrs.Gowi ok". A girl said " you have to go already ". Another said" it is not fair ". I said "I'm sorry but I do have to go goodbye children" . I left the school after saying goodbye.
