Chapter 4: The outburst
I breath in deeply as I feel it deep in my bones and my breath becomes shallow as I feel lost. Now a days this is happening all the time. When I have them, I usually notice before hand luckily. One coming and it was the strongest one. I could feel it consuming me, this terrified me. "Only a little bit longer holds on I told myself. I blasted as fast as I possibly could. Catherine shouted," why did you pick up the pace so suddenly ". I said," no reason it is late is it not".
Cate said," yes I suppose so". I started to change but we were zooming so fast that Cate could not see it. We made it home and I rushed to my room right when we got in.
I cried out" it hurts please no not again". I fully changed.
Cate pounded on my door" what is wrong why have you been acting so strange lately what does wrong veronica please tell me, I'm here for you". I try my best to hold off the nearing scream that was about to exit my mouth, but it only helped a little bit because the scream still came out even if it was quiet. "Victoria I will invade your privacy of you don't answer me". I looked at the door as the lock started to turn.
I shouted," I'm fine my throat just hurts and I'm trying to cough something up". I fake coughed hoping she would believe me".
Cate said," if you're sure your fine I let you get some rest tell me if you need any medical help, I'll be going now". After I heard her walk away, I sighed in relief.
" I'm so sorry that I'm lying to you I'm just so scared right now, and I want to tell you, but I don't want to hurt anyone else if becoming a monster is my fate then I'll disappear because I can't bring you into this I just can't". Then I screamed out again my mind was changing.
I thought to myself "Oh no this is the first time this has happened it is getting worse I feel evil around the corner is my soul really changing," I started to panic "is this even possible". Then I blacked out. I woke up moments later I thought of the world as I saw it differently and I wanted to ruin it all.
