Chapter 26: Sacrifice
What stood before him a mountain, climbing desperately for answers Shi Tian intrudes on this land unknown. Moving one arm, to only move the other, pushing up one leg to create grounding for the other, a grueling and chaotic process, rock climbing, one by one Shi Tian began his great journey to the top of this mountainside
Climbing for just a chance, just for a shot at something new, rising higher and higher, without care, Shi Tian with blood, sweat, and tears running down continued relentlessly, for answers.
Higher, and higher into the unknown, Shi Tian smiles, the mountain unexcavated, however, only laughs back, climbing for the first time in his life, to lose his rhythm for any single moment, it would mean a tumbling fall, and perhaps even death, so hand by hand, up this mountain traversing this mountain chaotic, Shi Tian smiled.
Life, however, was chaotic and forever changing. Mountains the apex of adventures, with each grasp rocks may break, with each step your footing may give up, at every corner, and with every chance the mountain had, there were dangers.
But Shi Tian, he believed, truly he believed that this mountain wouldn't forsake him to its depths, but... Truly nothing fair, Shi Tian was betrayed by the very thing he put trust in, the rubble underneath his feet cracked away.

Betrayed, the mountain breaks apart abandoning part of itself, letting Shi Tian go, plummeting to the very bottom, Shi Tian didn't even scream, he didn't have the effort, so falling thousands of meters, Shi Tian didn't bat an eye.

Upon impact, as if nothing happened in a bloodied mess, Shi Tian stood up, breathing tirelessly and gasping for air, standing up Shi Tian smearing the blood off his face and eyes, with a demonic smile upon his face, made his way back to the mountain's edge to climb, now that the mountain had stopped him once, he couldn't stop, for now, even if had this mountain one million times over, and fall one billion times, Shi Tian didn't care, whatever was up there, hidden away from this island he was going to see it even if he had to die for it.
Shi Tian, to learn of what he had become numb too, to remember his feelings, his family, friends, just anyone... Uncaring of his pain climbed up a mountain immense, without guide nor path, but truly this mountain it was too high, with each movement, with each step he moved higher, truly Shi Tian was getting nowhere. To traverse a mountainside that stretched on for millions of meters, and stood billions of meters high, just how? He didn't know, tired and without thought, but moving on regardless, Shi Tian couldn't give up, to give up here would mean to break his very spirit, heart, and soul, even if at the very peak there was nothing Shi Tian had to know, he had a gut feeling that if he didn't look now one day, he'd return to regret it.
Climbing numb, even though his arms and legs had given in a long time ago Shi Tian continued, into the unknown. In another place, as Shi Tian climbed, on the sandy shores of this island uncharted Jiao Long awaits Shi Tian's return, short of breath and tired, he lays asleep. However on this empty shoreline, one day in something had changed, around this slumbering crab something had occurred, surrounding him, an army of thousands moved in, armed to the brim with spears and nets.
Surrounding, this creature armored in its sleep, they attack thrusting their spears, tossing rocks, and throwing weighted nets, but this being its armor it was impenetrable, with everything this creature remained dormant, unhurt, and unstoppable. Relentless, however, their weapons proven useless, they all turn to throw weighted nets so that upon the awakening of this creature, after it leaves its defense, exposing its legs, this creature will be limited by the weight on its back, growing unable to attack, and fall without a doubt.
Two days pass and upon this beach, Jiao Long awakes, exiting slumber, its legs, arms, and eyes poke out to see he's surrounded by an army of countless, upon his back, thousands of nets weighed him down, and on top of his shell, just standing grew to become true insanity. Awakened only to be attacked by one million spears, awakened to be weighed down by seven thousand nets.
Trapped on this island where his brother's location remains unknown, he was being hunted, sheer outrage, complete chaos unfolded, return to the safety of his shell Jiao Long could not. Weighed down but he moves forward, his brother... His brother was still here, while his brother wasn't with him he couldn't flee, weighed down but unable to fight, Jiao Long now could only power through refusing death, and moving on to find his brother.
Continuing on step by step into this island of savages. To find his brother, standing resolute, Jiao Long became strong, forgetting his pain, pushing forward even though the odds were against him. Refusant to give in although unprotected, remaining strong although weak, refusing to give in to anyone. Although his fleshy legs were fragile, Jiao Long stood as if he was impenetrable with his head held high, carrying an armor made of thorns, and with the weight of countless on his back, moved on without exception to see his brother, to make sure he was okay. To hold his head high never faltering again, Jiao Long.
To move forward against fate, another does the same, Shi Tian mindless beyond comparison, unable to comprehend time anymore, how long he'd been climbing Shi Tian didn't know, however, after all this time had passed, he had made it, the peak. His body shook in intense pain, yet no feeling, bloody hands, and feet, but movement, Shi Tian with a final push greeted a world new.
At the peak of a mountain glancing over the edge, Shi Tian saw nothing, despair. Refusing he climbs up, a smile rises, this mountain it was hollow, glancing down Shi Tian's eyes opened to a world different, one that wasn't the hell he had grown accustomed to, but a place full of life, throughout, new things, new information, appearing within his head knew knowledge, below there was stone structures, houses, families, shops, markets, and humans... Laughing lightly to himself unknowingly he uttered, "An ancient civilization."
Humans, people familiar to him, a species of similar appearance, Shi Tian was overjoyed to meet a race of the same species as him none the less.
He wanted to meet them, he wanted to travel down, but he knew his limits. Even those ignorant, were not idiotic at times, Shi Tian didn't know these people, he didn't know who or how they acted, so afar he watched from the mountain's peak, observing to watch each and every movement of this species near yet infinitely far away to learn all he could before making his decision to stay or to go.
Time passed once more, and day two entered the third. Jiao Long alone in this world, and Shi Tian stalking a species from afar, scenarios completely different yet regardless both lay in a puddle of their own blood, continuing on even though they remain on the verge of losing their morals from pain.
Trying to run but they walk, trying to sprint but they crawl, trying to scream but only tears fall, trying to swing but their arms won't move. Living in chaos, yet relentless four days pass and they meet, here at the same mountain near, yet infinitely far apart, at its peak Shi Tian, yet at its depths Jiao Long, at the same mountain yet they remain one billion meters apart.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!" A scream yet their voices don't meet. But, something else reaches him, a scream blood-curdling rings out, a scream desperate, rises carried up the side of the mountain, meets Shi Tian's ear.
His eyes widen, this voice, it was familiar, it was a voice desperate. Scared Shi Tian turns around, running to the cliff's edge, and looking down, but he sees nothing, the only thing to enter his sight a barricade of clouds, but this voice... It was his brothers, Shi Tian couldn't second guess, even if he was only hearing things, he had to go, he had to check it out, and so with his fist risen, Shi Tian punches down at the edge of the mountain, the earth cracking, and crumbling, splits. Thrown off the mountain for the second time, Shi Tian on a floor of rocks and rubble falls down the mountain.
Surfing the mountainside on an array of rocks and rubble, a smile pops up, a feeling exhilarating, but Shi Tian could have fun, for there down below, something through the clouds began to appear.
Descending millions of meters per second, Shi Tian's eyes widen to what he saw below, his brother laying under nets countless, and thousands of men and women, stood around him with their torches lit.
Screaming out, Shi Tian yelled, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
But this yell is replaced, but a voice strange yet known, "A sacrificial piece..." Unknown from within Shi Tian a voice rang out, "Laughable, truly it's laughable foolish savages, just who are they praying to? Don't they know their God is dead, and that I am the one that killed him."
Angered beyond compare, Shi Tian fell with an avalanche behind him, looking up the army ran, but upon crashing down, hundreds who failed to run fast enough met their doom beneath. It didn't to there, however, jumping out at one man, Shi Tian punched, and punched, and punched, and punched Shi Tian had no remorse, to these beings savage, to dare touch his brother, he no longer cared if they were one of the same, all he knew was they all deserved death.
Standing there, Shi Tian breathing heavily, looked to the sky, as around him thousands charged with their spears, torches, and rocks. As they moved in closer and closer, Shi Tian only looked to the sky, smiling, even if it meant his death, he would take them down with them.
But as he stood in this world alone, as Jiao Long once had, time froze and a voice rang out, "Ahh... I can't let you wither away, but your familiar, and the name you speak is mine, but to all that use that void, to all that take advantage of its demonic strength, borrowing power from the devil, for each inch it gives you, upon your death, a meter is taken. But as time passes your revived back into this world anew, but it keeps something, never letting you completely free splitting entities apart, however, it seems... You are or we are different, I don't know when, or how, but at some point, you were my other half."
A sigh, "Ahhh..." He had failed himself, a laugh, "HAGH-A-HAH-AHY-AHA-HA-HA-A," a cough, "Just how did you become like this? A lifeless mess, a fool. How did a God fall so low," tears, "I'm sorry but you can't exist any longer, from now on I'll be taking back reign."
Taking over his body, Shi Tian drifted away, and from his mouth, the true him emerged, "Boy I don't know who you are, but after drifting the nothingness of chaos for an eternity, I can't watch any longer, and although I don't know why your body drew me out, however on your body, I feel myself on you, I refuse your life as nothing, I refuse to watch you struggle in the seas of change. Training only strength I don't know what you were trying to do, but your wish I'll carry it out, these mere Humans will crumble before this Ant Kong Yufang."
"Kong Yufang?" This name was not his, but what came out of his mouth was indeed it, a smile rose, "I see so that's how it is, you've already accepted a new identity, very well I will follow along with this charade."
