Chapter 11: Becoming a cover model...
On hearing this the photographer became very angry but could only control himself and think of a solution. Looking around he suddenly saw a stunning figure and his eyes started to shine then he pointed at Qingcheng and said to the person beside him
" her she is going to be the cover model for our magazine ".
" But sir she is not among the staff , I saw her accompanying Mr. Gu Bingwen when he arrived for the shoot". " It doesn't matter let's just go and ask if she is willing or we can just pay her double for the work" said the photographer. Hearing this the staff lady went ahead and approached Qingcheng asking " excuse me miss could you please hear me out" , startled at being approached by the staff Qingcheng just nodded in approval. " Miss our model has cancelled the schedule and we are in need of a model so when our photographer saw you he felt that you would be perfect for the pictures so could you please be our model and if you want we can even pay you double for the shoot please dont refuse otherwise it would be very difficult for us to reschedule this shoot".
" I can understand your problem but I'm not a model and dont have any experience doing this I think you should approach someone else ". Hearing this Qingcheng's mother said " Qing'er why don't help them out anyway it's just a few photos just pose according to the photographer and done now don't be a spoiled sport go and help them". Listening to this Qingcheng shook her head helplessly and said " ok as you wish".
Seeing her agree the staff lady was very happy and said " Miss thanks a lot you follow me and I'll get the stylist to do the makeup, we are doing a shoot for a wedding collection for the magazine and we will also be endorsing the wedding jewellery that is provided by the sponsors and also we will get all the documents ready for you during your shoot and you can sign them and add any clause if you want once you are done". Then they went inside the makeup room and the stylist started dressing Qingcheng up .
Once she was dressed she was called out for the shoot. As soon as she entered all the gazes were glued to her , she was wearing a white wedding dress with heavy embroidery and diamond embellishments , on her head she was wearing a diamond tiara and a veil. She looked like a moon goddess that descended on earth , even the photographer couldn't lift his eyes on seeing her. It took around five minutes for everyone to come back to their senses and then the shoot started .
The shoot consisted of three costumes among which on was the white wedding dress, second traditional red wedding dress and last was a black gown studded with diamonds. The staff of the studio were mesmerised by her looks . After the shoot was over the photographer excitedly went over to Qingcheng and said " Miss you were fabulous, may I know your name , would you like to become my Exclusive model?", hearing this Qingcheng smiled and said " my name is Gu Qingcheng and sorry I won't be able to become your model I did this shoot coz of Bingwen otherwise i wouldn't have done it".
Saddened by her reply the photographer went ahead to put finishing touches to the picture , while he was doing that one of the staff came and kept starting at the Qingcheng's picture finding the figure in it a bit familiar when he suddenly remembered where he had seen the lady in the picture so he quickly took a picture of Qingcheng posing in the red wedding dress and put it on Weibo with a caption " Met the beauty who fought the bad guys at the mall" . As soon as the post was put on it immediately went viral.
On this side Qingcheng and her lot already left to have dinner together at a nice Italian restaurant. sitting inside the restaurant they placed their orders and started chatting.
" cousin now that you are here grandpa was talking about you taking over the hospital so when are you joining ?"
" I am on a vacation for now and won't be working for atleast 3 months , I have also decided on a school for feng'er from the ones that your dad suggested so I'll be going there to talk to the principal about the admission procedure , once feng'er is used to this place I'll start working , till then I'm free".
" If you are going to be free for a while then help mom with her company some time and we can also have fun to relax once in a while and mom has a lot of nice guys working with her if you like anyone then you tell mom".
" Mom I told you before that I don't want to be with anyone and i already have feng'er so i dont need to date anyone and I'm already exhausted with all my work so i don't have time for all this".
" I know darling but you should at least give someone a chance and I really want to see you get married and I want that feng'er can also have a father just consider it you don't have to rush into it but at least give it a chance" . " ok mom I'll do as you say now let's eat otherwise the food will turn cold" replied Qingcheng while smiling. After dinner Qingcheng returned home with her son unaware that she had once again created a sensation on the internet .
