Chapter 10: Meeting her mother and cousin...
On entering she went to the receptionist and said " excuse me ! I have an appointment with Ms.Lin Xianer could you please ask her assistant to tell her that Gu Qingcheng has come to meet her", hearing this the receptionist said " ok please wait a minute I'll inform her". Then the receptionist quickly made a call and after confirming she asked Qingcheng to go to the top floor to the president's cabin. Following her instructions Qingcheng directly went upstairs with her son.
As soon as she left all the employees started their gossip mode and one of them said " hey what do you think who is that girl is she the new artist that the president is going to launch? with those kind of looks I'm sure she'll be on fire once she is launched", " oh my God the kid following her was so cute just like a little fairy is the boy her brother is he also going to become a child artist?" said another then unable to satisfy their curiosity they went and started asking the receptionist all sorts of questions, after getting annoyed the receptionist said " why don't you go and ask the boss instead of eating my head now leave and let me do my work" , not getting the reply they wanted everyone eventually scattered and went upon doing their on job.
On the other side going upstairs Qingcheng saw her mother's assistant at the door and was asked to go inside the cabin with her, so she followed the assistant inside. On entering the cabin with her son she saw a beautiful woman wearing a navy blue dress sitting across the table , she had shoulder length hair and looked very much like a successful woman. On seeing Qingcheng enter the women quickly stood up and hugged her tightly and said " Qing'er dear, mom missed you a lot have you been eating well you seem thinner than the last time I met you , I heard Yue'er say that you arrived just yesterday morning, you must be tired " , hearing this the assistant standing next to them was shocked as she had thought that her boss had called this lady to sign a contract with her and launch her as an artist of their company but this lady turned out to be the little miss of Gu family.
"Mom I'm fine not too tired and I did miss you all a lot ", listening to this her mother was happy and then she turned to Nianfeng and pulled him into her arms and said " did feng'er miss grandma , grandma missed you a lot " then she kissed him on both his cheeks and heard him reply in a sweet milky voice " yes feng'er missed grandma a lot too" , then he also kissed his grandmother's cheek. The assistant was thoroughly dumbfounded As she had never seen her boss so happy before this and even shocked to know that she had a grandson when she looked almost 35. Even the boss's daughter looks not more than 18 and she already has such a big son.
Seeing her assistant so shocked Gu momma said " I know what you're shocked about but rest assured my daughter just looks like she is 18 yr old but she is actually gonna be 28 in a few months dont let her looks deceive you" , hearing this the assistant was even more shocked. Then ignoring the confused assistant the mother and daughter had a nice chat while the little one kept fiddling around with his smartphone. After a while Qingcheng got up and said " mom I'm going to go to meet Bingwen , he told me to meet him at his shoot yesterday so do you wanna come with me"," ok I'll come with you even I haven't seen him for quite long he's been very busy this year" replied her mom so Qingcheng said " ok then let's go my car is still in front of the door let's just leave directly ".
Ten minutes later they finally reached the shooting location and called up Bingwen and said that they were just outside the shooting location so he asked them to wait till the assistant came to fetch them. Five minutes later a man in a black suite wearing gold wired glasses stood in front of Qingcheng and asked " are you perhaps miss Gu, our boss is waiting inside please follow me" hearing this Qingcheng nodded and followed him in with her mom and son .
When they entered inside the whole studio had been set according to a certain theme most probably for a magazine shoot was about to start , holding her son's hand she followed the assistant to Bingwen's makeup room. Inside the room was a man sitting in a white suit with a black bow , he had a face that could only be described as a ladykiller , he looked extremely handsome , behind him was his stylist helping him dress up.
When the man saw them enter his face immediately lit up he immediately got up and before Qingcheng could step inside she was pulled in a warm embrace.Then the man said in an excited voice " cousin I missed you so much , finally you came to meet me ", releasing her he picked the little one up and said while pulling his cheeks" ah my feng'er has become so handsome now he can replace uncle and and become a hearthrob of all the ladies outside ". On hearing this everyone broke into a laughter and Qingcheng finally saved her son's cheeks from Bingwen.
" Ok now that you all have come you all sit and I have cleared all of today's schedule so after this shoot we can all go out and eat " , once everyone entered the make up room and sat down, one of the people from the crew came and said " sir the shoot is ready but the female model is going to be a little late so the photographer said he will start by taking your single shots" , " ok you go and I'll come and tell him that I'm already ready" said Bingwen then turning towards Qingcheng he said " why don't you come and see me shoot my feng'er can also see what uncle does" , " ok I have also never seen you shoot we'll go and watch".
Then everyone followed Bingwen to the set to see him shoot . On Bingwen's arrival you could hear the squeals of all the girls coming from all around, the photographer on seeing him immediately asked the staff to adjust the lighting and started taking pictures for him. A little while later someone came running inside and with tension on her face told the director "sir the model finalized to be on the cover of the magazine suddenly cancelled as she has something else scheduled today in another city so she won't be showing up and all the stand in models would also not be able to make it in such a short notice, what should we do?".
