Chapter 21: In and Out

Two guards stand ontop of the wall holding military grade m4 covering the base from this side. The two guards standing in a tower staring through a thick forest unable to see past the treeline.
The two start conversating "So hows your day been lian" replying with a smile on his face he says "its been ok man days move so slow but hows the wife and kids".
Before tyrant could speak there conversations inturupted as a group of bushes shake aiming there rifles reaching there hands over to the safety, steadly holding a finger over the trigger. A group scavengers covered in camoflauge step out of the bushes Zian disgusing as one of them walking toward the gate. With relief Lian and Tyrant signal to the others to open up the gates.
Heading inside Zian places 2 energy connecters on the gate before it closed. The group stops by a checkpoint dropping there bags on a small table and heading through a metal detector. As the group through one by one Zian stands far behind them opening a small storage rift and throwing his bag in.
He walks through the metal detector spot clean and juckles saying "Man storage rifts sure do come in handy" and stares walking toward the main building. Walking passed a gated area he stops reading the sign reading "Restricted Area" looking around he quickly squeezes through a narrow alleyway slowly pushing his way through. Near the end is a tight squeeze but with sucking in his gut he barely slips through.
Noticing a small bit of loose metal in the building he rips it open looking at a symbol painted on the back of the piece sticking another energy connecter on the back "So this is where i place it".
Grabbing out the chalk sliding it against the floor drawing out a ritual site and placing the book in the middle. Stepping back the ritual sparks too life and particles from the air fly into the book diming the sky a few feet from the site the screams of people can be heard as the panic.
The book starts floating as the pages flip faster than the speed of light the symbols from the site then light up and the book stops at a page called the "transformation". Shocked after finishing it he says "no im not gonna do that not to all these innocent people"!! the book closes curupting the air just like before transforming everybody but Zian into plants.
Zian- "Damn it i was too damn slow i didnt get to stop it before it happened".
Hitting his head with his palm with frustration, pointing his P.K 1 creating a rift and leaving.
