Chapter 31: Magnifier

Location: Void
She turns around from the computer and starts searching through the rows of book cases moving around tons of books eventually coming across a book with a small button behind it.
She pushes in the button and the whole book case moves back sliding behind the other bookcase opening up a long and narrow passage way.
Mckenzie- "Well aint you people sneaky".
She holds her hand up activating her powers making a small light come out of her hand using it as a torch.
Mckenzie- "These powers are both a gift and a curse".
She walks down the secret passage way and on the walls are hand prints smeared with blood as she continues to go down more.
Mckenzie- "It looks like they were murdered or were running from something while bleeding maybe by Rampy it just doesnt make sense why like why would he do such a thing".
When she reaches the end of the passage way it splits off into two direction.
Mckenzie- "So which way is the correct way one of these leads to the next clue but which one".
*She pauses*
After pacing back and forth arguing with herself she heads down the path to tge right of her. This leads her through a serious of rooms and when she steps into the final room her foot pushes onto a pressure plate closing off the room with a bunch of boulders.
Mckenzie- "This cant be good".
The room starts to move in all different directions like a rubik's cube making her fall all over the place as the room brightens up with each move the room makes as all kinds of symbols glow opening the floor below her she tries to grab onto a ledge in front of her but she misses and falls into a dark abyss.
She yells "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH"!!!!!!
She falls into a underground lake almost drowning as she kicks off the floor swimming to the top gasps for air. She swimming over to a rocky island in the middle and lays on the edge of it.
Mckenzie- "That was too close i thought it was gonna be the end for me".
*She sits up*
Mckenzie- "Wonder what this place".
She stands up and explores the rest of the small island finding a small cave going under the island.
Mckenzie- "Whats this".
Heading into the cave setting off a trap is shooting two arrows off that barely miss her she looks over and sees a skeleton.
Mckenzie- "Well damn that person was unlucky".
She continues down through the cave past the trap and ends at a dead end.
*She freaks out*
Mckenzie- "No, no, no that cant be it theres nothing here damn it that cant be all this just to be left with nothing".
Full of frustration she shoots her powers into the wall making a crack in the wall allowing a small breeze on the other side to seep through.
She puts her hand onto the crack feeling the breeze and backs up pointing her hand again shooting another into the wall putting a bigger hole in the wall just big enough for her to slip through.
The cave opens up to a beautiful island covered in all kinds of leaves, full of colors with a building in ruins at the center of all of it lit up by a small bit of light coming out of the roof of the cave.
Mckenzie- "I wasnt expecting to be so close to the surface".
She walks up to the ruined building and inside theres a small table with a two pieces of paper on it.
Mckenzie- "Some papers".
She steps over all the loose stones trying not to kick one of the stones so the building doesnt collapse on top of her as she walks over to the table.
*She grabs the piece of paper*
Mckenzie- "These are letters one by a man named Nafel sent to someone called Galu".

As you know were in hard and trying times as a great war is close to sparking and setting off.
Rampy has ordered all of his civilazations to create for him what he calls the tools of power.
And any civilization who goes against Rampy shall be punished to death.
We sure hope you all understand sincerly Keeper Nafel to the Tibeks.

We created it for you Nafel but the power of this tool cant be controlled.
If theres any other way we can make it up too you we will try but we cant give you the magnifer as it is not up to your expectations.
But there is no reason to give people the death penalty thats completely absurd just because they choose not to help what if they dont have enough resources or the right tech like you cant expect everyone to do this.
We decided to hide it in a location somewhere on this planet in a ritual sight were only time can reach.

Mckenzie- "So thats the next hint in a ritual sight were only time can reach were would that be".
As she goes to step outside of the building her foot catches a loose rock by accident and the walls start to shake.
Mckenzie- "Oh no".
She runs when the building starts to shake and collapse but right before she can escape a piece of the wall falls onto her left leg.
*lets out a scream*
Mckenzie- "FUCCCKING HELL"!!!
She tries to pull her left leg out of the rocks with her arms but it doest budge.
Mckenzie- "Shit i cant feel my leg its gone completely numb".
She uses her hands to move the rocks off hee leg but a big rock slams onto her leg.
She lets out a loud yell of pain and her eyes tear up as the pressure of the rock releases when she pushes it off her leg. She tries standing up but only falls back to the ground.
Mckenzie- "You gotta be kidding me my legs broken now".
She uses her powers to form her arm into a blade made of sand that hardens it to a sharp sandstone as her hand shakes.
Mckenzie- "Oh my god i really got to do this".
She aims it onto her left leg and drives the blade through the leg cutting it off.
*Blood starts to shoot out of were the leg was cut off crying in pain*
She points her hand down to it focusing it to her palm creating sand coming out of the nub forming a leg made out of sand.
It connects to her nerves, as she tries moving her toes and feet around.
Mckenzie- "I wasnt expecting it to work i got a new leg out".
She stands up catching her balance noticing a tree with a clock marking carved into the bark.
Mckenzie- "Thats quite a suspicious mark this gotta be what that letter was was talking about".
Her eyes light up as the marking on the tree opens up a rift through the tree.
Mckenzie- "And theres the last clue".
On the other side of the rift floating in the sky is the magnifier.
