Chapter 13: Scent
------------------- Universe 1304 -------------------

As the leaves move fast and the ground shakes Zian stops as the scent of his father goes up a tree.
Zian- "Well now what am i supposed to climb a tree theres no way i can do that not with this body im trapped in".
The marking on his body causes a chain reaction inside his body and his dna splits and fills in with another animals dna near the proximity of Zian.
He shrinks in size barely seeing over the grass changing from standing on two feet to all fours his body going through changes back to back as scales turn into skin and skin into fur the four feet grow into claws perfect for climbing trees but as things shrink so does there brains.
He becomes a much more smaller animal a mammel that existed in the late jurassic Tendagurutherium a rat like mammel.
Zian- "Well i mean i guess that works but i can barely see and i lost track of the scent but i remember which tree".
He climbs up the tree but a glimps of something catches his eyes two small bearries of the color red.
Zian- "I dont know what it is but those bearries look good probally good for eating".
He reaches the top of the tree where the bearries sit and they shine as the sun hits them he decides to takes a bite spitting them back out as the taste is bitter.
Zian- "Those things are nasty.....Hey i dont feel so go".
Becoming sleepy hes knocked out falling asleep on the tree. When he wakes up its dark out and hes tied up in a spider web.
Zian- "Wait what, what happened how did i get here".
He starts squirming around but there no use he accidentally triggers the spider trap alerting the spider that its hes awake and the giant spider slowly starts to crawl down the web
Zian- "O no i gotta do something and fast"!
He tries to use his teeth to break it but barely breaks the web. The spider standing right over top of him about to sink its fangs into him but right before it could Zian uses his tail stunning the spider and making it retreat for just enough time to break out of the web and fall on his back.
Zian- "That was too close for my liking ill remember to never eat those bearries again now its time to figure out where i am".
Zian stands on his two back hin legs so he can see over the tall grass.
Zian- "Ahhh theres the tree but its dark out so i should find a safe place sleep for tonight maybe i can burrow a hole i got the claws for it".
Using his claws he digs a small hole underground and sleeps for the night.
----------- Morning ---------
-He wakes up and leaves his hole-
Zian- "Man i wish thus was a dream how even is this possible like how am i dinosaur why is the weird mark on my arm and what does it mean these are answers m that will probally never get answered but i still gotta find out how my dad died even if im a damn rat".
He gets to the big oak tree he was originally at and gets to where the scent stopped at and whats waiting for him is another piece of paper.
Zian- "He left me a paper i cant even understand i cant read this i can make out some of it but not all of it".

Zian- "Thats it theres nothing here".
-Zian picks up his scent again-
Zian- "Damn it wasnt expecting that".
Chasing the scent so he doesnt loose it and it stops in a row trees going in a circle around a small bit of open grass and a stone monument.
----------------- Flashback ------------
-Black hole in the ground opens up-
Kevin- "Please dont i didnt do anything".
Unkown man- "Youve done plenty you couldnt not mess with the things you tried to become a god well thats not how it works"
-He points his finger at Kevin and it lights up red-
Kevin- "No please dont.....Stop"
The light shoots into him and he falls into the hole.
------------------------ Flashback Ends ----------------
Zian- "That guy looked just like the one that killed my mother I dont think its a coincidence that they look nearly identicle and if im standing where the black hole was y isnt it here anymore".
He climbs on top of the stone monument and it sinks into the ground.
Zian- "I didnt mean to do that".
The whole thing goes underground and Zian falls with it into a dark cave.
-Sniffs-
Zian- "I can smell blood but its old".
Tracking the smell of the blood he comes across the book instead of his body.
Zian- "Holy fuck i found it but its wet and is about the size of me so how am i gonna hold onto it".
-Zian uses his snout to open up the book-
------------------------ Final Entry ---------------
Final Entry- In my last hours as i know im dead soon this mark has caused me nothing but pain. Better yet an masked man shot something at knocking me into this cave.
My son i know i wasnt the best father to you but i tried my best and i tried to create a park for our family to enjoy and keep me feeling young when i loved dinosaurs but things happened and i messed with stuff i couldnt handly or contain. This place is not what it seems this planet his filled with veins of magic and not all the good kind.
Hopefully you and your mother will be safe from it and my son theres something ive never told you about yourself and that is because that same masked man came to me and told me to keep you a secret treat you like a normal human but you arent your a...
