Chapter 11: Temple of Pathways

Location: Rocha Afiada
Zian starts climbing the vines and moss that lead him onto the roof of the lab. Standing on the roof he starts talking to himself.
Zian- "Ok so how do i find this book its the only way ill be able to find out how he fell".
As he climbs down from the roof he ends up on the back side of the building. Right off the bat he notices these rocks with these red and orange bubbles in them with a bunch of equipment stabbed into the rocks.
Zian- "Were they extracting the liquid from the rocks thats what it looks like".
*He walks up to the rocks and picks off a few pieces putting them in his pocket*
Zian- "Ive never seen such an odd rock before it cant be from this world"
While hes looking at all the equipment a group of pack of two Aucasaurus covered in green and yellow scales with a chameleon pattern jumps onto the car behind Zian making a loud noise that awares there presence".
Zian- "Come on i really dont got time to deal with u things how long where those things there i didnt even realize them".
As the two circle around him he stands in the middle of the two waiting for them to attack. They both launch at him in full speed at the same time Zian doges making them buttheads knocking them onto the ground for just enough time for Zian to escape through the jungle. Running through all the thick leaves and jungle trees looking aimlessly as his vision is fuzzy he falls through a hole in a the ground into a cave. When he looks up the two Aucasaurus look down and roar with a loud screech at him.
Zian- "Thanks you for this hole or else id be dinosaur lunch (Sharp pain in his arm) fuck my arm hurts alot".
He gets up looking to the left of the caves wall he sees a torch and the wall.
Zian- "I wonder if i can use the key to light the torch".
He puts his hand down to grab the key and points it at the torch it shoots a beam of light at the torch sparking a light.
Zian- "Well theres my answer....yes".
Grabbing the lit torch he turns it toward the dark cave it he lights up another torch causing a chain reaction of more torches lighting up giant temple covered in vines and flowers and other plants on a big piece of rock surrounded by water with sharp rocks hoing around the rock.
Zian- "Woah is this the temple they where talking about in those documents".
As he starts walking toward the temple the lights up a big stone column revealing a ancient letters ᛏᛅᛘᛒᛚᛅ᛫ᚬᚠ᛫ᛒᛅᚦᚠᛅᚢᛋ(Temple of Pathways).
Zian- "I have no fucking clue what those words say but im sure its probally the name of the temple".
Walking up the long stairs he hears a crack as he steps on a loose stone turning around the stairs start falling apart. He starts running without hesitation as the stairs start collapsing with big chunks of stone falling into the water. The piece of stair that Zian currently running up on starts falling backwards toward the water crumbling beneath his feet but just before it all collapses he jumps off and clinging onto the ledge of the stairs hanging on he climbs up and right before his eyes is the temple.
Zian- "Now im getting somewhere this looks very promising".
Standing right infront of the big stone doors of the temple he struggles to push them open as u can hear the stone slowly scratching on the floor. When getting the doors finally opem the torches light up instantly lighting up the temples hallways.
Zian- "Im not even suprised about the torches ive seen crazier shit on this planet".
Zian stops in his tracks as theres a giant red and orange stone in the middle of the temple with ancient devices aiming right at the stone.
Zian- "This rock looks just like the ones i saw esrlier before i could learn anything about them these devices look like they shot something into the rocks i wonder what would happen if it was still active maybe theres something around here".
Searching around the giant room he sees some vines coming from a platform near the roof. He climbs up the vines when he reaches the top with a lever on both sides of the room that connect to the devices he pulls the leaver but nothing happems.
Zian- "Huh no power i guess these must be what powered the devices it have a slot in them that look just like the smaller rocks i picked up earlier".
Reaching into his pocket he pulls out a two tiny pebbles one red the other orange. He sticks the first rock into one slot and walks over to the other slot and puts the other rock in. Both levers pull down on there own and the devices start lighting up and making loud noises as the gears move inside the machines.
Zian- "I dont know wether to be excited or worried right now but im both".
After the devices are warmed up they both shoot a beam into the rock making the whole room turn a bunch of colors blinding him. As he the colors go away hes no longer in the temple.
Zian- " Where the hell am i how the hell did i end up on a islands beach".
Zian notices the piece of paper hes standing near and just before it blows away he picks it up.

As u get closer to finding out what really happened youll travel through the island and find odd and unique landforms youll come across weird shaped mountains and alien like plants in just a few hours of being on the island. Coming across many different animals and nearly dying plenty of times. Son i failed you as a father i was never really there for you theres something unique about you and i sure you will find out the secrets of many things maybe even what happened to me "I love u"
