Chapter 24: Power of the Clock

Mckenzie and Emma are sleeping as Oliver keeps watch over there camp as anything could pop up at anytime. Over where Mckenzie sleeping the clock on her fore arm starts moving slowly from the gears shes tossing around back and forth as she sleeps. The power of the clock messes with her dreams, forcing her into an unkown realm.
Shes floating around an area that looks what space would look like many colors and lights as you can see endless amounts of stars. As she continues on she comes across a giant hour glass surrounded by a bunch of pathways and all kinds of wormholes. When she reaches the platforms shes forced down onto it bh the gravitation pull on the platforms so u can walk on them. When she reaches the front of the hour glass she can see it has the same symbol as the clock on her arm. The gears on both a the clocks move in harmony and the clock and symbol open up a small hole that looks lile it connects to something.
Lifting her arm up to the symbol small light particals become visible forming a line of light connecting the clock with the symbol through the two holes. More light particles form around her until shes covered in light. She tries to escape and the particles around her but when she hits it there as tough as a brick wall. She hits it once more and the light disappears and she falls into sand inside the hour glass.
Mckenzie- "What now im inside the hour glass did i just teleport".
Looking down at her feet the sand starts to climb up her legs and she starts sinking into the sand.
Mckenzie- "What no this isnt how ima go out".
She trying to brush the sand off but the more she brushes it off the more she sinks. The sands up to her neck and it starts to glow bright yellow.
Mckenzie- "Why is it glowing now and why cant i feel my body"?
The sand sticks to her body forces her arm with the clock up making her glow yellow holding her in place six clocks like the one on her arm form in a circle around her. The gears open up a small holes on them and light particles creates lines of light going into her raised arm. The light disappears from the clock and a few second later the clock gears stab into her skin shooting the particles into her making her veins fill with the particles it just gained but right before anything else happened she woken up by Emma and Oliver shaking her there faces looked worried.
Emma- "Mckenzie are you ok you where spazzing out".
Oliver- "Ya that was some crazy shit".
Mckenzie- "No i had this crazy ass dream that something was happening to me".
-Oliver grabs her fore arm-
Oliver- "Does it have to do with this crazy ass clock thats been freaking out".
Mckenzie- "Ya it was almost like it was doing a ritual to me or something".
Emma- "Thats very odd because when me and Oliver switched shifts i came across another 1 of those ancient text and it had the same symbol as your clock".
Mckenzie- "Let me see it".
-She hands it too Mckenzie-
Mckenzie- "Damn it.....its in the same language as the damn tablet that gave me this clock but ill keep it maybe theres something on this island that can translate it".
The three clean up there camp and move on through the vegitation. As they reach the end of the forest they where in they reach a plains biome in the shape of a cone and something in the middle of all it.
Oliver- "What do u think that thing is it looks old asf mightve been something those ancient people built".
Emma- "I dont know but theres only one way to find out".
Mckenzie- "Well i guess lets go see what it is then
When they get to it, its like a shrine of some sort it has a broken black vase in the middle held up on the top and bottom a clock coming out the top and puzzle pieces on it two circles and four lines pointing in random directions.
Mckenzie- "Thats odd do you guys thing that it could be a puzzle of some sort and maybe itll lead or teach us something".
Emma and Oliver- "Ya its possible".
They mess with the lines turning them all in different directions and eventually figuring it out by making the four lines point at the two circles. The two circles then push into the shrine making the clock at the top spine in all different directions making the broken vase fixed turning it into a rift.
The three looked shocked and step inside of the rift into a space like area.
Mckenzie- "Uhhhhh guys this looks alot like the dream i had we should probally leave".
-But when she turns around the rift is gone-
Oliver- "Woah this place is trippy theres so many stars".
Emma- "Ya ill say theres millions wait where did mckenzie go".
The two end up floating to where Mckenzie was and they see the big hour glass and notices Mckenzie trapped inside of the hour glass smacking on the glass.
Emma- "Shit how do we get her out of there its so big"?
Oliver- "I have no clue but we gotta figure out something".
As they walk around Oliver notices something connecting to the hour glass.
Oliver- "Thats it, that things is holding the hour glass in place".
The six clocks start shooting lights into mckenzies arm.
Emma- "Come on Oliver we gotta hurry something happening".
They run over to the thing connecting to the hour glass but when they get over there its too late all the sands gone and theres no sign of her anywhere.
Oliver- "Where to late damn it!
- Emma falls to the ground and Oliver stands behind her with his hand on her shoulder -
Emma- "Well what do we do now"?
Oliver- "We find a way out of this place before something else bad happens".
