Chapter 33: Escaping
After they were done talking, since I had all the information I needed I deactivated elemental senses. Swiftly they detached me from the bindings, and after a short moment I was back at my cell. Going over to my bed I sit there but instead of just meditating and removing the slave seal, I finally am able to access the system. Being able to do this I take a look at my new stats.

'Wow, that was a big jump. Looks like I'm not human anymore though,' sighing to myself I find that it sucks that I'm not human anymore. Though I figured that from the way the pain happened this time, and where I'm hearing now. 'This is going to be troublesome.'
Putting that aside for now I enter a meditative state. From what I realized in my training this past month, I quickly found the slave seal. Confirming where it is I decide to wait a few more hours before I do anything about it. Meditating and continuing my grasp over mana, several hours quickly pass. Knowing that the head scientist has been gone for several hours now, I begin to break the slave seal. Surprisingly, It is fairly slow breaking it, but after several hours I finally dissipate the seal.
As the seal dissipated I could feel my strength gradually coming back. The feeling was intoxicating, but the thing that shocked me most was the feel that all the additional Dex gave me. I wasn't able to exactly pinpoint it but I could tell that I would be able to do more delicate maneuvers. Over the next hour I started to practice my martial arts, slowly getting a better grasp of my new strength. Then sending a small trail of mana, I sent a short message to Talia. 'Get ready, we're getting out of here, be close to your cells door.'
Hearing a small shriek in her cell I know she got the message, though got scared about it's suddenness. 'Finally, with the captive status gone I can finally use my inventory again.' Thinking along this line of though I summoned my scythe into my hand, reveling in the feel of the cold metal in my hands. Ensuring maximum efficiency I send Lightning and Ice coursing through my veins, the feel is different from using it through the system. It feels more efficient, more powerful. Finally I send the mana into my weapon, along with the scythe energy. A feeling of power I didn't feel when using the system envelopes me, and it makes me feel alive again.
I slice down the side of the door, destroying the hinges on the way. A moment after that slice the door just falls onto the ground, making a resounding bang sound echo through the passageway. Rushing out I stand next to Talia's cell and destroy the door in the same matter, resulting in another crashing sound. Putting away my scythe, realizing I won't be able to effectively use it in these passages. 'Create skill Elemental Martial Arts.'
-Elemental Martial Arts, thought of host have deduced this to be along the lines of your Ingenuity tree. This will take 1 Ingenuity Point and 200 points. The skill will function similar to the magic system, and its level will be determined by the base skills level, Elemental Channeling. 'Perfect, just what I was hoping it would be, little more expensive than I hoped, but I can deal with that'
