* He decided that he had given enough time to Daenerys for her to grieve her loss. He then sat down and wondered what he should do with the woman.
Finally, he came up with the decision to marry her as she was a wonderful and caring woman who would make a great wife.
He told her about his wishes and she agreed without a second's hesitation. They were betrothed to each other by the end of the day in front of the godswood.
* Harry went to Hardhome and found that 20,000 free folk were waiting for him. He already knew this thanks to the glass candles so he brought all his ships with him this time.
He went to the main camp and saw that even Thenns were present in the camp. He didn't knew if these men would live peacefully in his lands. And even if they did, their children or grandchildren might decided to rebel.
But he knew that he'll soon be able to create potions to increase his longevity when he had the time to do so. So it was unlikely that they would win under his command.
He'll probably have to give them lands in the edges of his lands where they'll not be able to mount a direct attack on his more prosperous lands, not to mention that he'll have to constantly keep an eye out on them.
With that decision made, he found out the men who were not truthful and didn't planned to live peacefully in his lands and kicked them out. By the end of the week, his lands had 15,000 new inhabitants in it, most of whom could be called into battles if necessary. He'll also be sure to make them loyal to him over time just like how he did with the other free folks.
* When he returned, he found Daenerys and Ygritte feeding the dragons. Unlike what he had thought before, Ygritte had not minded him being betrothed to Dany all that much.
She told him that in the True North, any man who could take something and keep it to himself was free to do so. And because of her endearing, bold and brash nature, she had quickly made friends with Dany which came as a big surprise to him.
He was happy that they became friends and not bitter enemies. As they turned to look at him, he pulled both of them closer to himself and planted a kiss on both of their lips while grabbing their asses before he told them about the 15,000 Free Folk he brought from the North. As well as the worrying memories which showed the Wights and White Walkers.
They both glanced at each other as he told them about the danger coming from the North. Then he changed the subject and told Dany that the 3 months he had given her had ended and that it was time to honor her agreement. But then his eyes turned gentle and he told her that if she didn't want to marry him then he won't force her.
Dany was surprised to hear this but then she shook her head and said what kind of woman she would be if she didn't honor her words. He nodded and told her that they'll marry tomorrow.
* Their marriage was a quiet affair. Only a few close family friends came and they married under the oldest Weirwood tree in the Dreadfort. Even some Children were present in the Ceremony. Ser Barrister Selmy was the one to give her to him as she had no other family member and he accepted her by donning his own house's banner over her shoulder before pulling her in a gentle kiss.
The feast that followed their wedding was much more boisterous as all the important people like nobles, merchants, captions and lieutenants of his army and wilding leaders participated in the feast. It wasn't long before they excused themselves as he led her to a beautifully decorated room and made love to her.
* Harry roamed in the land beyond the wall until he came across a bunch of wights. He used various spells to fight them and found that fire was the most effective spell against them.
After a short but intense fight, most of the wights that came out of the woods were burnt alive by him. The few that remained were trapped by iron bars to the earth.
Just as Harry was thinking about putting the wights inside a expendable trunk and taking them back with him, he felt the area around him drop in temperature. An effect that reminded him of the Dementors. But unlike the dementors, there was no negative physiological effect to his mind so he was not very worried about his chances and stood confidently in his place as a ice skinned man wearing an armor came out of the woods.
He guessed that it should be the White Walker that resurrected those Wights.
He got ready to fight and start throwing spells on by one only to frown when most spells were simply shrugged off by the armor of White Walker which must have held some magical property of his own.
He then tried fire spells but the fire was overwhelmed by the coldness radiated from the White Walker.
Every spell that he used against the White Walker proved useless so he shifted his method of fighting and used transfiguration to turn the ground under the White Walker into chains and bind him down with them.
The White Walker looked at the chains with his stoic expression and the temperature in the atmosphere took a nosedive as the chains holding the White Walker shattered instantly.
As the White Walker came near him, he used a banishing spell on it to throw it some distance away and started conjuring some swords and spears and tried to impale the White Walker with it.
But every sword, spear and arrow that struck the White Walker shattered upon impact.
He frowned deepened as he realized that he should have researched a bit more about these White Walkers before coming to fight.
He could always use a Fiendfyre spell to burn it down but he was sure that his wand would break under the strain of the powerful spell and the spell might backfire on him which would create even more problems for him.
So he used conjuration spells to summon magically enhanced chains that were glowing with runes and bound the White Walker with them.
The White Walker tried to shatter them just like before but they held firm.
Still, he could see the glow of the runes dim by every moment and realized that he didn't have much time.
So he opened the trunk he had brought with him and 'Accioed' all the Wights he had captured so far and put them securely inside his trunk.
Then he looked at the White Walker and said "I'll come for you later." Before he apparated out of the clearing with a crack.
* Harry sat on the bed with numerous books in front of him about the history and lore of this world.
Daenerys came from behind him and wrapped her arms around him and put her chin on his shoulder.
He pecked her cheeks with tender affection before going back to reading the books.
"You look worried about something." She said and instead of replying to her, he sat quietly for a moment longer before he turned and pulled her in his arms and asked "Did you know that when I first arrived in this world, the magic of the world was fading. And the most I could do with my Weirwood wand was use some mind magic."
"Yes. You did mention something like that."
"But for the past two-three years, the magic of the world started becoming strong. And not only because I planted a whole forest of Weirwood trees around the Castle. The magic of the world is returning for some other reason. And the magical creatures are returning back with it."
"Magical creatures like Dragons?" she enquired and he gave a nod before pecking her on he nose.
"Yes. Like Dragons. And worse."
She frowned at his word "Worse?"
"Yes." He said and gestured back at one of the book floating in front of him which showed some depictions of the White Walkers in childish drawings.
Daenerys gasped from beside him and he gave a nod. That was the reaction he had been hoping for.
"I want you to go on a mission for me." He told her.
"Mission? What kind of mission."
"I'll tell you in the grand council."
"I didn't knew we were having a grand council." She said.
"We are now." He said before he took out a large mirror and activated it after which it glowed with various runes for a few moments before the faces of various important people of high posts working under him appeared in the large mirror.
"I'm summoning you all to Dreadfort. Drop whatever you're doing currently and come back. This is an order of the highest importance."
The people in the mirror looked surprised by his serious expression but gave a nod of accent before he cut the connection.
* That evening. Harry arrived at the gates of Castle Black with a small escort.
The gates were opened by a few young boys and he immediately noticed the severe decrease in man power within the Castle. He didn't miss the depressed and hollow expression at the faces of some of the men either.
One of the black brother named Ed took them to the man in charge named Alliser Thorne.
"Where is Lord Commander Jeor Mormont?" he asked as soon as he arrived in front of Alliser Thorne who looked haggard as if he had not slept for a few days.
"Dead. All of them." The man replied without looking up at him.
"Dead?" he frowned "How? Explain everything to me." He said as he sat down on the chair in front of the man who let out a sigh of frustration and started explaining.
Turned out that after all the Wildlings started disappearing from their villages, the Lord Commander and the other rangers became suspicious of their activities and led a Great Ranging to the North of the Wall with a thousand men.
Only half dozen of those men returned back, men who had lost their mind and were now talking gibberish about dead man and what not.
Harry played with the idea about telling Alliser the truth about the situation beyond the wall but didn't want to break the man so he simply nodded and asked "Are you the new Lord Commander then?"
"No. When the men of the Shadow tower and Eastwatch arrive, a gathering will be held and a new Lord Commander will be selected but till then I'm in charge."
"I see. Then can you take me to Maester Aemon. I've some things that I need to discuss with him."
"You came all the way up to the Wall to talk with Maester Aemon?" Alliser Thorne asked with incredulity.
"Yes." He replied and the man simply sighed and gave a nod.
