Chapter 7: chapter 7

At first he didn't say anything he just looked at all of us with an unsettling look on his face. I kept wondering just what could be wrong for Sydney to have such a look, however it didn't take long before we all found out why.

"Maybelle dear, I'm so sorry" he said, though all of us were confused as to why he had said that.

" Maybelle, there has been another incident near by it may or may not be a murder. Even, I'm not sure yet but this time it's gruesome. They say she's been sliced up so bad and several parts of her organs have been removed" he exclaimed.

" Sydney old chap watch what you say in front of the children" said Harry's wife. Sydney had forgotten about the twins and had a horrified expression as he realized what he had said. The twins had looked at each other but when they looked at all of us they had a smile on their faces.

" Ally, Addy what in God's name are you two smiling about?" Harry asked.

" Papa?" Addy asked. Harry looked down at the young child and responded with a yes.

" Both me and Ally had red in the papers there have been mass murders on young women these days all in Whitechapel. Which is near by" Addy announced. Everyone was shocked except me and Ally of course. Everyone else wondered where Addy was getting at when I suddenly said,

" She's talking about the recent murders in Whitechapel, the murderer is being known as Jack the Ripper. No one knows what he looks like or where he popped up from but this makes the third woman to killed!" Now everyone was more shocked that the young child had known about the murders going on just by listening and reading the news. But more so to the fact that it has caught my own interest. Ally had pulled on her mommy's dress.

"Yes dear?"

" Don't be too shocked mummy, it's not Great Aunt Maybelle's fault. We actually told her about the murders first" Ally explained.

" Molly!" said Harry in contempt. She knew her husband was right, their own children had their Great Aunts weird mystery hobby for themselves and were certain they will make trouble for them later on." Dear nieces I'd have to also say that the original Jack the Ripper is dead. Since he was from the eighteenth century" I told Addy and Ally.

" But Great Aunt how else would you describe what's going on with these horrifying murders?" Asked Addy. All I could do was stare at the pair of them dumbfounded. That's when Sydney chimed in.
