Chapter 424: I'm sore all over!
Yu Chen sat up on the bed and stretched her arms. Her shoulder and back muscles were a little sore, but nothing much. It was to be expected after the night she had had. Chen's lips once again formed into a smile remembering last night.
She decided to get up and find the reason behind her smile. She looked around and saw one of Si Xia's shirt kept on the bed table. It wasn't the one he had been wearing last night, this one was freshly washed and beige. Chen pouted as she pulled it on, this one didn't really smell like him.
Finally, Yu Chen stood up from the bed and wished she hadn't. Chen groaned as she sat back down on the bed, her legs and the area between her legs hurt like hell. She had assumed that what the movies and novels told about the soreness of the morning after having s*x was exaggerated, but as she had just figured out, it wasn't. Her legs were very, very sore.
Taking a few deep breaths and mentally preparing herself, Yu Chen stood up once again. This time wasn't that bad, probably because she had been prepared for the pain. "Just glad that I'm used to leg soreness after leg days." Chen mumbled as she slowly began to make her way towards the door, cursing her useless legs.
She had made it about halfway down the stairs when she heard, before she saw, Si Xia and Oreo coming up the stairs. Chen's face lit up in an involuntary smile as she saw them coming towards her, Si Xia looking like the perfect husband material in sweats and messy hair, with a breakfast tray in his hands and Oreo bounding beside him.
But Chen's smile vanished as soon as she took a step to meet the two. The pain in her legs came rushing back and she winced. Si Xia was immediately worried and was beside her in a flash. "What's wrong? Where does it hurt?" he asked. His face turned from worry to confusion and then to guilt as Chen replied, "It's your fault."
"Was I too rough last night?" he whispered, and Yu Chen could see on his face that he was going overboard worrying about her. She rolled her eyes and said, "No you weren't." "Then?" he asked again, beside himself with worry. Chen pouted and said, "I'm sore all over."
Si Xia blinked a few times as it took him a minute to understand what Chen meant. As soon as her words settled in, a giggle broke out from his lips. She was sore? He had heard about girls being very sore after s*x, especially after their first times, but he didn't think it was true. He was a little bit sore too, just about the soreness he got after a good workout. And he had assumed Chen would be the same. Xia had never expected her to be so sore that she even had trouble walking.
He was pulled out of his thoughts by Chen's accusing glance and voice as she snapped, "How can you laugh? It really hurts!!" Si Xia immediately checked his laughter, but his eyes were still very amused and lips smiling as he shifted the breakfast tray to his one hand and wrapped another around Chen's waist.
