Chapter 412: Where is he?
"Where could he have gone?" she muttered to herself and looked around.
Not spotting Xia, Chen suddenly started to feel weirdly down. She strolled inside, away from the music, and took a few deep breaths, slightly glad to be away from the noise. Now that the music wasn't as loud, Chen frowned as she thought she heard barks. Oreo? They seemed to be coming from the kitchen. Shit!! Oreo!
Among all this hub-hub, nobody had probably thought to feed him! Chen face-palmed as she walked to the kitchen, and sure enough, saw Oreo in the empty room. He was sitting beside his bowl and barking his lungs out. As soon as he saw Chen enter, Oreo made a puppy face that instantly melted her heart.
"Oh God! How could I have forgotten to feed you!!" Yu Chen exclaimed as she rushed to get his dog food. As soon as he saw he was going to be fed, Oreo's face instantly lit up. Chen poured some dog biscuits in her hand and caressed Oreo while he ate them.
"You really were starving." Chen laughed as Oreo lapped up the treats in a second and began to lick her fingers. She then filled his bowl with food and checked if his water bowl had enough water. Seeing everything was fine, Chen gave Oreo a loving rub on the head and walked out of the kitchen.
But she never got any far. As soon as Yu Chen walked out of the kitchen, a yelp escaped her lips as she was suddenly pulled by the waist and pinned to the wall.
She had already punched the person in the gut and was about to shout, when her eyes fell on the one she had punched and she exclaimed, "XIA!! What are you doing!?!? You scared the life out of me!"
"And apparently you plan to punch the life out of me." Si Xia said as he rubbed his abdomen with one hand and let out a few shaky breaths. "Oh my god! Are you okay?" Chen's face was immediately filled with worry.
She was relieved when he nodded with difficulty and said, "I taught you well." "Was this only to test my self-defense skills or have you finally lost it?" Chen asked, rolling her eyes now that she was sure Xia was okay.
Si Xia's eyes suddenly changed. All the playfulness vanished from his expression and his eyes darkened as he grabbed both of Chen's wrists with his hands and pushed them over her head.
"Wh-What are you doing? I-I . . . . " Yu Chen fumbled for words as Xia sighed and put his lips very close to her ear and whispered, "I swear Yu Chen, you're going to be the death of me."
Yu Chen shuddered as his warm breath tickled her ear and his sexy voice sent goosebumps all over her body. "I-I . . . . . " was all she managed, like a broken tape-record.
But Si Xia apparently had no intention of hearing anything as he yanked open the top two buttons of the shirt Chen was wearing and attached his lips to the area just below her collarbone.
"Xia . . . I . . . you . . . . mmmhhhh!!" Chen moaned out as he kissed, bit and sucked her skin.
