Chapter 396: He's not worth it
Chen and Hua turned around to see who this guy was, and Chen felt like someone had snatched the floor from under her feet.
"He? He is your boyfriend?" Yu Chen asked as Mian approached with the guy, who looked to be in a very foul mood and was looking down at his mobile. "Yes. This is Mo Qian. Qian-Qian, meet. . . . ." But Mian never had the chance to finish introductions as Mo Qian looked up upon hearing Chen's voice and exclaimed, "YOU BI*CH!!!!!! What are you doing here!?!?!?!?"
"Huh?" Xi Hua mumbled, looking from Chen to this new guy who seemed to hate her. Did she know him? Hua probably would have remembered someone who hated Chen that much right?
While Xi Hua was wondering who this guy was, the guy walked over and grabbed hold of Chen's wrist. "I'll make you pay, bi*ch!!" he exclaimed, tightening his hold while Yu Chen tried to break free. Xi Hua and Yu Mian seemed to put their thoughts into action at the same time. Hua grabbed hold of the guy's wrist and pulled it away from Chen, and Yu Mian grabbed the guy and pulled him, yelling, "What are you doing? Qian-Qian?! That is my sister!!!!!"
Hua and Mian were together able to pull him away, and hearing Mian's words, the guy stopped struggling, but he continued to stare with hatred at Chen, who was rubbing her wrist. "What happened?" Xi Hua asked Chen, stepping in between her and the guy. Yu Chen did not reply, but turned her gaze to the man.
Yu Mian was also asking him what had happened, but Mo Qian didn't seem to be in any mood to reply as he continued to stare at Chen, who crossed her arms over her chest and said, "So this is why you are so cocky. Younger brother to the guy who owns the place."
Mo Qian didn't reply to her, but turned his attention to a very worried looking Yu Mian beside him. "Is she really your sister?" he asked, his voice filled with disgust. Mian nodded, looking very confused, and a bit vary.
"If the likes of these are your family, we're breaking up." Mo Qian said and started walking towards his car. "But what happened Qian-Qian? Why do you suddenly want to break up?!?!?!?! WHY!?!?!?!?!" Yu Mian shrieked as she latched onto his sleeve. "Let him go Mian. He's not worth it." Chen spoke in a small voice, and Hua once again asked, "What happened?"
As Yu Chen opened her mouth to tell all that had happened while she had gone to call Si Xia, Mo Qian suddenly seemed to decide that he wanted to tell the story. "I was standing quietly at the end of the corridor of my brother's office. Finishing my cigarette before going in, and scrolling through my phone." he began.
Chen could tell from the first few words that whatever was going to come out of this guy's mouth was complete gibberish, so she crossed her arms and patiently waited for the trash that was about to come out of the mouth of this guy named Mo Qian.
"And this bi*ch suddenly appears out of nowhere." he continued, "And she says," Mo Qian cast a glance towards Yu Chen then.
