Chapter 394: Disgusting conversation
The guy laughed and said, "Everyone needs a bit of company once in a while. And I provide excellent company, or so I've been told." "I assume you had to pay quite a price to be told that. Because I can't see why would anyone want your company unless a lot of money was involved." Chen replied, rolling her eyes.
"Oh, so is that the way it works?" the guy replied, eyeing Chen up and down. "Very well then, name your price." he said, giving her a wink which sent a shiver of disgust down Chen's back.
She made a face and said, "With your face, I wouldn't say yes even if you offered me the whole world. Now if you'll excuse me. I have better things to do." She felt her phone ring and saw it was Xi Hua. This meant Yu Mian was off her shift. "About time." Yu Chen thought and made a move to walk away from this disgusting conversation, but the guy grabbed the back of her hoodie and pulled her back.
He flipped around and pinned Chen to the wall, her back to the wall and his hands on the wall on both sides of her. Chen's eyes narrowed as she said, "Let me go. This instant."
The guy frowned and said, "You don't seem to know who you're talking to. Very well, I'll teach you." Chen's whole body froze in fear as the guy grabbed her waist and made to kiss her. Her mind completely shut off and Yu Chen did the first thing that came in her mind in self-defense. She brought forward her knee and hit the guy hard in between his legs, straight in the ba**s.
A cry of unbearable pain escaped the guy's lips as he removed his hands from Yu Chen and sunk to the floor in agony. Chen quickly walked away while the guy continued to shriek from the floor, "YOU BI*CH!!!!! You don't know who you've messed with!!!! Just you wait!!!"
Chen did not look back and walked with fast steps. She only stopped when she almost bumped into Xi Hua, who seemed to be looking for her. Seeing Yu Chen all flustered like that, she asked, "What's wrong Chen?"
Yu Chen shook her head as she threw a quick glance over her shoulder in the direction of the hallway. "I'll tell you later. Where's Mian?" she asked. "She went to change out of her uniform. Said she'll meet us in the parking lot. But are you sure you're fine? You're sweating all over. Is it too hot with the hoodie on?" Hua replied and Chen waved her hand and nodded her head.
She took a bottle of water from the bar before the two girls headed into the parking lot to meet Yu Mian.
As they entered the lot, Chen easily found Mian. She was leaning against a car with a cigarette between her lips, her open hair falling on her eyes. Yu Chen recoiled in horror upon seeing that her little sister was smoking. She had always hated the smell of smoke, it made her head ache. "Relax Chen. Mian is an adult now. She has all the right to make her own decisions." Chen muttered to herself as they went up to her.
