Chapter 370: Some more torture
Xi Hua was smiling with tears on the brim of her eyes.
Yu Chen's eyes were also swimming with their past as she remembered the first time she had seen Zenghai, he had actually looked like Hua was his own world. Chen almost laughed out aloud upon remembering how Zenghai looked like a vicious tiger when she had once asked to speak to Hua alone.
Meanwhile, Zenghai continued on stage, "You were like a ray of sunshine in my computer infested basement of a mind. And I instantly loved you. Oh god, I loved you so much I forgot what hating myself felt like."
Saying this Zenghai knelt down on one knee and pulled out the delicate velvet box. "So, Xi Hua, I ask you this, will you let me embarrass you like I have today for the rest of our lives?
Will you make me the happiest man on earth?
Hua, will you marry me?" Zenghai asked as he opened the box.
As he said the last sentence, the world disappeared around both of them.
Only the two of them existed, right now, in this moment, nothing else.
How Hua wished that time could stop and they could exist in this moment for eternity, just the two of them. But alas, it had to go on.
She opened her mouth to say something but no sound came out.
Xi Hua was very surprised and tried to nod her head, but her whole body seemed stiff like a puppet, whose master wanted it to be completely still.
Hua was frozen in shock. Her mind was still wrapping itself around something her heart had instantly decided upon.

So Xi Hua looked like she was shocked out of her mind as Huo Zenghai waited for her answer.
He started getting worried about a few seconds and called out to Hua. Getting no response, Zenghai got worried by the second and stood up. He held and shook Hua by the shoulders as Si Xia started walking towards the two and even Yu Chen made a move to get out of her seat, forgetting that she was undercover.
At that moment Hua recovered herself and shrieked, her voice dripping with joy, "What are you doing stupid!!!?? Get down!! You're supposed to put the ring on my finger on one knee! Don't you dare spoil this!!!!"
The whole auditorium including Zenghai, Xia and Chen burst out laughing.
Most of the people including Hua and Zenghai had tears in their eyes as Zenghai got back down on one knee and slipped the delicate ring on Hua's finger.
Xi Hua wrapped her arms around Zenghai's neck and was about to kiss him when he gently said, "We're in public Hua."
Xi Hua blushed and to hide her embarrassment, pecked Zenghai on the cheek.
Si Xia wiped the tears that had leaked out from his eyes and said, "We can all clearly see that the couple wants to get some alone time. But you'll have to go through one more torture before that happens Hua."
Xi Hua frowned and looked at Si Xia then back at Huo Zenghai. Realisation dawned on her face and her lips parted in a smile as Zenghai bowed and offered his hand.
