Chapter 341: What will you do?
Xi Hua walked forward and hugged Zenghai from behind. "I love you. You know that?" Hua mumbled.
Huo Zenghai chuckled, "Yeah. But you know what? I don't love you."
"Huh?" Xi Hua was surprised.
Zenghai turned around and hugged Hua back before he said, "Yeah. I don't love you. That's why I'm gonna torture you by making you meet my parents."
Xi Hua grinned and spoke with a mischievous smile, "Is that right? Then maybe I'll take revenge by making you live like a saint for a month."
Zenghai raised his eyebrows and pressed Hua to the closest wall. He blew in her ear and whispered, "Really? Let's see if you're able to resist."
He then licked Xi Hua's neck and planted an urgent kiss. Hua moaned and a giggle escaped her lips. She knew she wouldn't be able to resist.
Yu Chen and Si Xia were walking to her parents' house. Though the roads were now better and Xia's Ferrari could have easily gotten to the front door, Yu Chen wanted to walk to her home, like every time. And Si Xia was more than happy to oblige. He wanted all the time he could spend alone with Chen, and also all the time he could have to prepare for meeting her parents.
Yu Chen smiled as she put her arm in Si Xia's. She looked like a kid who was going to show the report card in which she had gotten good marks to her parents.
"You're really that proud of me?" Si Xia asked, looking with a surprised smile at Chen's face.
Yu Chen had a smug expression as she looked at him and nodded.
Si Xia raised an eyebrow, "What will you do if your parents don't like me?"
"I'm sure they'll love you." Yu Chen waved her hand.
"But what if.....and that's a big if....what if they don't?" Si Xia insisted.
Yu Chen gazed at Si Xia's face for a long minute, signs of some internal struggle clear on her face. She looked down after a minute and said nothing.
Though Si Xia knew this was a painful question for Yu Chen, he didn't say anything. He wanted Chen to seriously consider what she would do if she had to choose between him and her parents.
Xia hated himself for it, but he kind of wanted to hear Chen's answer too.
But when Yu Chen did not reply for several minutes, Si Xia began to get worried.
He tried to sneak a peek at Chen's face, but she turned it away.
Xia tried a few more times and failed spectacularly. He finally grabbed hold of Chen's chin but she refused to turn her head towards him.
Si Xia stopped in frustration and held Chen's hand with one hand and her chin in the other. "Will you please at least look at me?" he sighed.
Yu Chen still did not turn her face to look at him. Si Xia huffed, and in his anger, held Chen's wrist with his one hand and turned her face forcefully towards him with his other hand.
The next moment, Si Xia stopped dead. His eyes widened and he immediately wanted to beat himself to death.
