Chapter 319: She had decided what to do
"So, what's for breakfast?" Huo Zenghai asked again.
Yu Chen looked at him, "What a pig. I already had my breakfast. Eat whatever you want."
Huo Zenghai's face dropped, "I only didn't eat because I had to get ready. Hua wouldn't wait another second to meet you. She wouldn't let me eat."
Yu Chen sighed, "You've gotten a lot better at manipulation, I'll give you that. Come to the kitchen, I'll whip something up."
She said as she headed out of the living room.
Huo Zenghai beamed, "I love you Chen!!!"
"Why don't you ask her to be your girlfriend then?" Hua's voice came from the bathroom.
"But I love you more!!!!!!" Huo Zenghai yelled back as Chen laughed.
Yu Chen was sitting on the couch with Oreo trying to grab the ball she had in her hand.
Che laughed as Oreo fell down the couch while trying to get it and was back up on her lap in a second.
"You're already better aren't you? Looks like you were only missing me. Good. Cause I missed you too!!" Chen exclaimed as she scratched Oreo's head.
"Woofff!!" he barked joyfully and Chen immediately put a finger on her lips, "No! You can't!! The evil landlady will throw us out!"
Oreo seemed to understand as he licked Chen's face and began to chew on the ball he had just won.
"Looks like he's better already." Xi Hua said as she headed in the living room, her nose pink from the cold outside.
"Yeah." Yu Chen said as Hua knelt down and Oreo licked her face.
"Say Hua, can I use your phone?" Chen asked.
"Sure." Xi Hua said, handing her phone to Yu Chen and standing up.
"Thanks. I made dinner. Shower and then we'll eat together." Yu Chen smiled and Hua nodded.
Chen stared at Xi Hua's phone before making up her mind.
She called a number and put the phone to her ear. "Chen?" the call immediately connected and Si Xia's voice was heard, oddly hopeful.
"Yeah." Yu Chen replied, deep in thought.
"Listen, I think I left my purse at your home. It's dark blue and silver and has....." Yu Chen began. "Yeah I know. I found it." Si Xia cut her off.
Chen stroked Oreo's head as she said, "Yeah so could you drop off the purse if you don't mind? Pick up Oreo while you're here too."
"What? You're asking me to bring back Oreo?" Si Xia sounded very shocked.
"Yeah." Chen said in a small voice, "but only if you will take care of him properly. And to be honest, I think he misses you a bit."
Which was a complete lie. Oreo seemed to be very happy and recovering fast. But Chen had thought the whole day and she had come to the conclusion that it was not nice to strip Oreo away from Xia like that.
"Okay. Of course. I'll come immediately." Si Xia exclaimed as he cut the call.
Yu Chen sighed as she pulled Oreo closer to her chest. She had decided what she was going to do, but she would need her phone back for that.
