Chapter 234: What did you do?
Yu Chen looked deep into his eyes to ascertain the meaning of his question, or at least find out why he was asking this.
When she found nothing, Chen sighed, "I'm this life, I doubt that there is anything that you can do that will make me stop loving you."
Si Xia's shoulders relaxed a little, but his face remained tensed, "You mean that?"
Yu Chen sighed, "More than you can imagine."
She thought about how she had come back in time to stop herself from falling in love with Xia, and how miserably she had failed.
Si Xia broke eyes contact as he put his head on Chen's shoulder and leaned on her, saying, "Thanks."
Yu Chen chuckled as his messy hair lightly tickled her jaw, "You're welcome. For what, by the way?"
Si Xia: "This was a great present."
Yu Chen broke off the hig and held his shoulders, "No no. This doesn't count."
Si Xia tilted his head, "Why?"
Yu Chen: "Well, because..." She dropped her gaze and mumbled something which Xia did not catch. "What?" he asked.
Yu Chen looked up and shook her head, "Nothing. If it was good enough for you, that's fine by me." Si Xia smiled and gave Chen a quick peck before he said, "Aren't you going to be late?"
Yu Chen slapped her forehead, "Shoot. Shoot. Sam's going to kill me. Is the driver ready?" She asked.
Si Xia: "He is standing right in front of you."
Yu Chen's face broke into a grin, "You're coming?"
Si Xia nodded as he picked up the keys to his Ferrari, "Let's go."
Yu Chen made for the door, but Xia said, "Don't forget your gift."
He tossed the tablet to Yu Chen who caught it and suddenly grinned, "Oh yeah. Do remember to tighten your security."
Si Xia frowned as the two came out of his office, "What's wrong with the security? The guard are all top notch. I was not notified of any problems."
Yu Chen rolled her eyes as she flipped back her fake auburn hair so that it swayed while she walked. She said, "I'm not talking about the physical security. Tighten the cyber security."
Si Xia's brows were still furrowed, "What's wrong with the cyber security here?"
Yu Chen smirked like the devil she was, "I hacked into your security system with a new tablet that had not even been set up for that. Think what anyone could do with a personalized laptop or PC."
Si Xia's mouth fell open. The two were in the elevator by now, "You hacked into my company's security system!?!?!? Impossible."
Yu Chen tilted her head in a playful manner, "You don't believe me?"
Si Xia pursued his lips, "I don't. I know you are a genius, but no one can hack into such a complex system with only a tablet."
Yu Chen said nothing. She gave Xia a sweet smile which sent a shiver down his spine. Then Chen turned to the tablet in her hand. She typed away for a few seconds before looking up at Xia again, the sweet smile plastered to her face.
Si Xia was sceptical, "What did you do?"
Yu Chen leaned on his arm, "You'll see."
