Chapter 207: Childish love
Xing Chuan looked at Si Xia, who waved his hand indicating for him to answer Chen's question.
Xing Chuan coughed and said, "Ahem....I think the woman in question should be the marketing head, Miss Yi."
Si Xia said, "Thanks Xing Chuan. You can go now."
A very confused Xing Chuan nodded and left the room. After he had gone, Yu Chen pulled up her cap a little and sat there, when Si Xia suddenly beckoned to her.
Yu Chen: "What?"
Si Xia: "Come here."
Yu Chen sighed as she got up and walked over. She sat down on the couch beside him and Si Xia took a tomato and brought it to Chen's mouth.
Yu Chen opened her mouth and ate it. Si Xia said as he took one for himself, "Why did you want to know about some random woman?"
Yu Chen: "I'll tell you in a minute. How come you don't even know your own marketing head?"
Si Xia: "I do know her."
Yu Chen: "Then why couldn't you tell me when I asked? Or did you want to tell me?"
Si Xia chuckled as he flicked Chen's forehead, "Look at you, being the big green monster of jealousy."
Yu Chen put her hand on her forehead and looked as though she had been wronged very much.
Si Xia chuckled at Chen's childish behaviour. He removed Chen's hand from her forehead with his own, and kissed the spot where he had flicked, saying, "Better?"
Yu Chen's cheeks began to turn pink again as she said, "Don't try to dodge the question."
Si Xia put up his hands in defeat, "Okay my queen. I do know her. I know that she is a competent manager who has great potential. But I've never noticed what she looks like, so I didn't know who you were asking about. Honestly."
Yu Chen nodded as she said, "I believe you."
Si Xia wrapped his free hand around Chen's waist and pulled her close while he continued to eat with his other hand.
Yu Chen suddenly said, "I really like your office."
Si Xia looked up, "Huh? What?"
Yu Chen repeated, I really like your office."
Si Xia: "You can come here as often as you like."
Yu Chen: "No. Not like that. I mean....I kind of like this as an office, like it looks like somewhere I would love to work."
Si Xia: "I could give it to you, along with the whole company."
Yu Chen: ".... How can you say that so nonchalantly?"
Si Xia planted a quick kiss on Chen's cheek as he said, "Because I'm willing to give you anything if you ask for it."
Yu Chen chuckled, "Then I will have to be careful what I wish for."
Si Xia also chuckled, "So, should I get the transfer deed ready?"
Yu Chen looked at the president's chair and said, "Not yet. Wait till I become your biggest rival and then bankrupt your company then buy you out."
Si Xia: "..."
Yu Chen: "I think I will keep the building and then sell all other assets."
Si Xia: "....Have mercy on me."
Yu Chen laughed, "Of course I'm kidding. I would never sell your company. I'll aquire it and revolutionise it."
Si Xia: "..."
Yu Chen pinched his cheeks, "Don't worry, you can live off me when that happens."
