Chapter 205: What's mine is yours
Yu Chen next went to Si Xia's office. She reached the top floor and walked through the hall. There was no assistant today, so she knocked and waited for a response.
"Come in." Si Xia's magnetic voice came from inside.
Yu Chen opened the door and walked into the large office. She had expected it to be empty, but there were three people sitting across his luxurious desk. Two men and two women, all in professional suits. Yu Chen's eyes next fell on Si Xia, who was wearing a grey shirt and his hair was messy.
The topmost button of his shirt was open and slightly showed his sexy collarbones. Yu Chen found herself staring at his collarbones as she gulped and mentally scolded herself for being so perverted.
Si Xia looked up without any expression on his face, but his mouth stretched into a smile as he looked at Chen.
He turned towards the people who were sitting and said, "That's it. Let's leave it here for the time being."
The people were dumbfounded and turned to look at Chen, who pulled her baseball cap even further down, murmuring, "No. You finish your meeting. I'll just wait here."
Si Xia wanted to say something but Yu Chen had already walked to a couch on one side and sat down.
Si Xia asked from across the room, "You want anything? Coffee? Juice?"
Yu Chen shook her head as she kept her head down and eyes on her knees. Si Xia's voice came again, "Okay then. Continue."
Yu Chen heard one of the people begin to speak and she sneaked a glance. The people had to be high level employees by their auras and their confidence.
Yu Chen took out her phone and played a game while also sneaking glances at Si Xia. He was sitting with his hands on the table listening to one of the women report. Soon, the glances became more and more frequent as she sighed, "Oh my god. Could you, for once, stop being so handsome? Men really look so good when they are concentrating."
Yu Chen hurriedly dropped her gaze as she saw the other woman turning her head to look at her. After some time, the four people stood up and Si Xia said, "Good. You may leave."
As they shuffled out of the office, Si Xia stood up and strode over to Yu Chen.
Yu Chen also stood up as she hugged him saying, "Hii."
Si Xia asked, "What are you doing here?"
Yu Chen let him go as she pretended to be angry, "So you didn't want me here?"
Si Xia wrapped his arms around her waist as he said, "I wish you would stay here all the time."
Yu Chen chuckled as she pointed to her bag, "I brought you lunch."
Si Xia: "Oh what a great wife I have. Bringing me lunch." He pecked Chen on the cheek and began to take out the bento box.
Yu Chen's cheek turned a light shade of pink as she walked upto his office chair and sat down. With her hands behind her head, she said, "You don't mind, do you?"
Si Xia, who was opening the box had not noticed what she had been doing. He looked up and laughed, "Of course not. What's mine is yours anyway."
