Yu Mian was just like Xi Hua, she loved shopping. But Mian was still not convinced, "But sis, I wanna go with you."
Chen sighed, "Fine. But I can take you with me only one time. Either before lunch, or after. Now you decide. You want to run around the city with documents or wanna go shopping?"
Mian, upon hearing this, immediately flew to the couch and said, "Bye, sis. I'll have lunch prepared for you."
Chen chuckled, "Bye."
As Chen came out of her apartment, she messaged Kio, 'Hey, you wanted to meet up?'
Seemed like Kio was busy as he did not reply but his voice call came through.
Chen picked up the call, "Hello."
Mo Kio's voice came from the phone, a little distant, "Hey, Chen."
Yu Chen: "Am I on speaker? What are you doing?"
Mo Kio: "Never mind that. Just a little busy. Why did you call?"
Yu Chen: "Mian told me you wanted to meet up."
Mo Kio: "Oh yeah. But now's really not a good time."
Yu Chen: "Seems like spending time at the hospital daily has got us all behind our schedules."
Mo Kio: "You can say that again. But we won't have to worry about Hua being bored today."
Yu Chen: "Yup. I'm running some errands, when do you want to meet up?"
Mo Kio: "Let's do this. I'll message you when I'm done. If you're free by then, tell me your location and I'll come pick you up."
Yu Chen: "Okay done. Bye."
Mo Kio: "Bye."
Yu Chen spent the whole morning running around. She was wearing a dark blue full sleeved top paired with black jeans and her favourite, white sneakers. To give her look a unique touch, Chen had put her small hair in two loose low ponytails which looked really cute. She went to her school and the passport office. She ran around the city all day and was extremely hungry by the time she returned home. Chen dragged her body through the door and plopped on the couch. Mian came in looking refreshed. She had put on one of Chen's oversized t-shirts. Due to the difference in height, the t-shirt reached to just above her knees. Mian had put a belt over the t-shirt, highlighting her slim waist and was wearing leggings and sandles comfortable for walking. She had her hair in a high ponytail as she came and sat beside Chen.
Mian held onto her sister's hand and said, "Hey sis. Let's go shopping."
Chen: "Yeah sure. But I'm starving. What's for lunch?"
Mian: "I did not feel like going out. So I made lunch with whatever was available at home."
Chen: "Don't say like you made lunch with baking soda and juice. I keep my house well stocked."
Mian rolled her eyes and pulled Chen over to the dining table. She had made two dishes and one soup. Chen looked and said, "That's quite the nice lunch."
Mian: "Yeah. Come on, dig in."
The two sisters had lunch and went shopping after that. They spent the whole afternoon roaming around the mall and going from one shop from another.
