Chapter 134: The bully gets bullied
Huo Zenghai introduced himself, "I'm Huo Zenghai. Nice to meet you."
Si Xia said, hands still in his pocket, "Si Xia. Hello."
Mo Kio seemed to be out as he mumbled, "I'm Mo Kio. You're really pretty. Um sorry....I did not mean that. I mean, I meant that you're pretty but I did not mean.....uhhhh."
He seemed really embarrassed as he turned around and tried to walk out the door.
But he almost bumped into Chen who was carrying a large box with difficulty. Kio immediately jumped out of the way as Chen scolded, "Oi, watch where you're going. I always knew you had no brains, but I just now realised that you are losing your five senses too."
Yu Mian was surprised while the other three laughed. Xi Hua looked at her face and said, "She's always like this with us. She is kind of like the mother hen of the group. Disciplining all of us."
Yu Chen by then had dumped the box in Kio's hand and walked in. She looked back and said, "What are you doing there? What's wrong?" She then turned to look at Zenghai and Xia and asked, "Did he hit his head on the way?"
Si Xia slowly mumbled, "I thought I acted like an idiot when in love. I'm actually quite mature compared to him."
Yu Chen: "....."
Xi Hua: "....."
Yu Mian: "....*internally* "What kind of friends did sis make in the city?"
Huo Zenghai: "I guess all boys are like that."
Xi Hua changed the topic as Mo Kio staggered in, "Do you guys know what is in that box?"
Mo Kio, who had recovered a bit back to his old self, said, "No. But with the weight seems like Chen has picked up a new hobby of collecting stones."
Yu Chen: "Damn you brat! You dare call my mom's cooking stones. You don't get any."
Mo Kio panicked as soon as he heard it was aunty Yu's cooking. He turned to Si Xia and said, "Help me!!!"
Si Xia: "She's right. You did insult it. So you don't get any."
Mo Kio: "Damn you, she already has you on a leash."
Yu Mian: "....."
Yu Chen: *cough* "Let's all just" *cough* "eat."
Yu Chen and Huo Zenghai helped Hua sit up slowly and placed the bowl of congee in front of her. She looked at the food Yu Mian was laying out and said, "I wish I could eat all that."
Mian chuckled and said, "Don't worry. I'll be visiting much more when sis goes abroad. I'll bring loads of food."
Yu Chen turned around and saw Kio and Xia picking up chairs. She said, "Don't. Let's all just sit on the floor beside Hua's bed."
Mo Kio: "Come on Chen. It's so difficult to eat while on the floor. Tell her, Xia." He turned and was dumbfounded as he saw Si Xia already placing the two chairs in his hand back and walking towards the bed.
Mo Kio: "Fine. You guys are soon, very soon, going to be running around your girls."
Si Xia: "At least we won't be running away from them and bumping into someone else's girl."
Mo Kio: "....." "Should I have not come here today?" He thought to himself.
