Chapter 114: Soooo embarrassed
Mo Kio: "Good morning."
Si Xia: "Good morning."
But Yu Chen was in no position to reply them. Her face was red and emitting heat. She had turned her back towards them and was trying to cool it down by fanning her hands.
Mo Kio rushed in front of her face and said, "Good morning Chen. What happened? Why is your face so red?"
Chen cursed at him under her breath. Mo Kio stiffled a laugh. He knew very well what had happened to Chen. Before falling asleep, he had seen the way Xia and Chen had slept and had been anticipating her reaction. He continued to tease her, "Do you have a fever?"
Upon hearing this sentence, Si Xia also rushed towards her and put his hand on her forehead. Chen went more red and Kio almost died from holding his laughter.
Si Xia: "Well your temperature is high Chen. Are you all right?"
Chen jerked his hand away and ran towards the mansion as Si Xia stood there in complete confusion and Mo Kio lay on the grass, laughing, clutching his stomach.
Si Xia looked at Mo Kio and said, confused, "What happened?"
Mo Kio got up, still laughing, "Can't you tell? She's embarrassed."
Hearing this, Si Xia followed Yu Chen and Mo Kio also came up, having problem running due to all the laughter he couldn't stop.
As Yu Chen entered the mansion, she bumped into someone. Yu Chen steadied herself and apologized, "Sorry Uncle Leo."
Uncle Leo: "It's quite all right, child. Did you have a nice sleep?"
It occurred to Yu Chen that everyone in the household had seen her sleeping in such an inappropriate position. At that point, Yu Chen wished that she could dig a hole in the ground to hide herself.
To add to her embarrassment, Mrs. Mo came out of the living room. She said, "Ah Chen, is Kio awake?"
Seeing her expression, Mrs. Mo stopped, "What's wrong?" At this point, Si Xia also entered the mansion, panting.
Mrs. Mo's eyes went from Chen's embarrassed expression to Xia's confused and worried expression. She had opened her mouth to speak when Mo Kio also arrived, still laughing.
Mrs. Mo: "Seems like you kids had an interesting time."
Mo Kio: "Oh mom....hahh....you ha-have.....no.... idea."
Mrs. Mo: "Calm down first. Tell me what happened?" She looked at the two who could speak without panting and laughing.
But Yu Chen was so embarrassed and Si Xia did not completely understand what was going on. Mrs. Mo understood that they were not going to say anything, so she said, "Chen, Xia, why don't you guys go and freshen up. I have had new clothes placed into your rooms for you to change into."
Yu Chen and Si Xia nodded and went towards the guest rooms.
By this time, Mo Kio had also composed himself. He said, "Mom, I'm also going to shower. We will be going to the hospital after that."
Mrs. Mo: "No, you will come with me and explain what happened for Chen to react in such a way."
Mo Kio smiled and nodded. He followed his mother into the living room.
Chen, as she reached the bedroom given to her and locked the door, leaned against the door in embarrassment.
