Chapter 103: Going to the hospital
The principal talked to the doctor in charge and said, "I think these two also need a check-up." He pointed at Mo Kio, who was lying unconscious on the floor, and Huo Zenghai, who was sitting on the floor as though all life had been drained out of him.
The doctor nodded and the two were also put inside the ambulance.
Yu Chen then began struggling even more strongly, "I also want to go with them." she shouted.
Si Xia went up to her and shook her. He said, "Chen, come to your senses. Losing your mind won't help Hua. Neither it will do something for Zenghai or Kio." He still had tears streaming down his eyes.
Chen calmed down upon hearing this. She stopped struggling and the teacher holding her let go. Chen fell into Xia's arms and mumbled, tears now flowing out of her eyes like a waterfall, "I want to be with them."
Xia nodded and said in a comforting voice, "Me too. We will go to them." He then wiped off his tears and said to the principal, "Sir. Could you arrange for us to go to the hospital too?"
The principal tried to stop him, "I think it would be best if you both went home right now. You can go and visit the three tomorrow morning."
Si Xia said with a stern expression, "Sir, Chen lives in a rented apartment, I live at a hostel. In short, we both live alone. And can you guarantee that nothing will happen...." he looked at Yu Chen, "in the condition she is in."
Seeing that the principal was not agreeing, he said, "Chen also needs to be checked out at the hospital."
The principal rubbed her temples and finally said, "Zhen, drive these two to the hospital."
One of the teachers nodded and Xia and Chen were immediately drived to the hospital.
When they reached the hospital and reached the rooms where the boys were, Chen immediately wanted to run in, but Si Xia stopped her.
Yu Chen: "What?"
Si Xia: "You need to get checked for shock."
Yu Chen: "I'm not in shock. Let me go see them."
Si Xia: "Kio and Zenghai are not in much danger. And Hua is in surgery, you cannot do much. Come on, let's get you checked, please?"
Yu Chen sighed and gave in. She got checked and Si Xia paid the bill for her check-up. Though Chen tried to object but he left no room for objection. Soon Chen was done and the doctors told that there was nothing seriously wrong. She had had a minor shock, but she had recovered from it and now was basically fine.
After Chen and Xia came back after her check-up, the teacher named Zhen was already there. He said, "I have already called the parents to the three here. They should be arriving shortly. I suggest you two also go back quickly."
They nodded and went into the semi-private room where Kio and Zenghai were lying.
They were both unconscious. The nurse there told that it was nothing to worry about. The doctor had already checked them.
