Chapter 9: CHAPTER 9: SWEET 16
SHAYLA
I have never been so happy in my entire life. My Sweet Sixteen.
During the drive to the beach, singing my favorite singer, I feel heaven today. I even forgot that I sang in Zander's car, feeling I was in concert.
Even Macy joined with me and Cherry too. It was really my day that the DJ's on the radio played 3 favorite songs of Taylor Swift.
When we stopped in front of our beach house, I got out from the car and went to the gate. I pushed some codes to open the gate so that the car can go inside.
Yes, Dad installed high tech gates for his beach property since we do not stay there more often. It was not that huge beach house but it had plenty of rooms and a two-story house.
Our beach house has living room, dining room and kitchen. There are two rooms with bathroom each on the first floor.
My parents bought the beach property when we were little. Dad designed the house by himself the way he wanted to be. He even put big pool facing the beach with one common toilet and bathroom outside. He builds it with fences so that no one can trespass our property and safe precautious as well from the outsiders.
On the second floor, there are four bedrooms with bathroom each as well. There is also a balcony facing the beach, good for watching sunset and sunrise.
We found my parents and Rebecca- Zander's Mom was cooking barbecue outside near the pool, the cooking area. Our house was below the sand of the beach you could go down and walk more steps before reaching the actual beach.
"Hey kids," my dad said. "You go put your things upstairs. We already occupied the first floor's rooms."
"Okay, dad," Shane replied and we were off to the second floor.

We were standing in the hallway and Shane talk. "Okay, since there are four rooms in this house. We let the celebrant pick first."
"No need to let me pick first because of all this rooms, Shane, are the same size, design and style." I shook my head. "But Macy and I will be sharing the room and all of you can choose now."
"It is fine with me sharing with Shy so I will choose where first." Macy grinned as she walks toward the room near the balcony and the rest of the rooms were occupied each boy only Jonathan and Cherry were sharing one room.
We go inside our rooms and Macy and I did the same. She quickly put down her things on the floor and lay down on the double size bed.
"Wow, I never expect that your family have a nice beach house, besh." She said with appreciation. It was her first time here and mostly only family will spend time here together.
"Yeah, me too, I did not expect that my dad has a keen on designing about the house. He got us surprisingly two years ago during our summer break."
"And you forgot to mention it me." She pouted.
"We were not friends at that time. And I am glad that your family settle down now in this state 'coz if not I do not have best friend now." I said hugging at her.
"Yeah, I am glad and happy because you are one of a kind. You are always there for me and accept me for who I am." Macy smiled. She may be outgoing person but never share her secrets to anyone than me. She may have a lot of friends but it was different when it comes to me.
"Me too, you accepted me for my being home buddy sometimes." I even hugged her tight and she did the same.
A knock from the door and it was Shane.
"Hey ladies, come on let's have some bonding time to do than staying in this room," he said and Zander was with him in the doorframe looking at us.
"Okay, okay." We both said and walked out with them.
ZANDER
It was an enjoyable even a simple small party for Shayla. She was so happy and contented with the way it was. Grilled pork, pasta, cake, ice cream and balloons it all prepared by her parents with my mother. That shocked her when we got down the pool. It has her name decorated.
"Okay, let us sing first my not little baby anymore. My sweet 16 little girl Shayla a happy birthday." Mrs. Cox said as we all settled in front of the table with all the foods they prepared.

Everyone got up one by one. Moving towards her near the birthday cake table giving her with presents and kissing her cheek then hugging.
I was the last one to walked towards her. I kissed her near her lips and nobody would notice since I was facing back at them. I know Shay's eyes widen but I acted like innocent.
Everything was perfect and got her some gifts and I have not yet given her, mine. We even witness the sunset and we gathered for perfect picture taken. I even had mine together only with her in my phone.
The oldies retired to bed early while the young ones decided to changed our outfits into swimming attire since no more Mr. Hot Sunny in the sky.
I was gone out my room when Shayla's room open and she was wearing sports bra with swimming shorts. I stood there checking her out.
*Cough*
She coughed and I looked into her eyes. "Done checking?" she said, arms crossed in her chest. I blushed, caught me in the act.
"Nice one, sweet pea." I said with devilish smile from my face. "Even nicer if you are wearing a bikini." I winked.
"Whatever!" she walked past me and I still looking into her swaying ass.
"Damn."
"I heard that." She said and turned her head at me smirking. I smiled widely and followed her.
The pool was empty and the others were still in the room, changing. I sat beside her in the beach lounge chair. Shane joined in with some plastic bag in his hands.
"I brought this secretly but not to be wasted by to enjoy for the party," he said and when he took out, it was some alcohol in a small bottle.
"What are you doing Shane?" I heard Shay saying.
"We will drink this; it is only a small bottle Shay and besides it is only us. I am allowing ourselves because it is safe in here. But if you are in a party, of course I do not allow you to have an alcohol in your system because you are still minor."
She shook her head and Macy and the others came in. "What the f***?" she said.
"Just one shot for the two of you not more okay, at least you will know what it tastes like, baby girl."
Macy thinks for a while and nodded." Okay" she smiled at Shay.
Shane began pouring it to us and I saw how Shay's face turned into sour but she emptied her glass.
