Chapter 106: Choices - Part 1
Clarence with his broken nose, swollen face, cut lips drink the glass of vodka. He didn't mind the sting it caused his wounds inside his mouth, somehow the pain helps in soothing his anger and regret mixing and fighting together.
"You shouldn't have said those things you know?" Clarence calmly looked at the man whom where the voice came from.
"What are you doing here? How did you know I'm here?" Clarence take a big gulp directly on the vodka's bottle.
"I'm sorry buddy, as much as I want to hear you out, understand and give you advices but I can't." Jules looked at Terrence before continuing what he's about to say. "I think my cousin can be much of a greater help here than me." Jules said in all honesty.
"So that's why you brought him here?" Clarence laugh. "I won't let you stop me from drinking this!" Clarence got up and like a child hide the bottle in to his arms to protect it.
"Hey, I'm not going to stop you from drinking. As a matter of fact I could get use some drinks too." Terrence showed him a bottle of alcohol. Jules on the other hand got two glasses for the two of them.
"Why are you doing this?" Clarence asked.
"Let's just say at some point I think I know how you feel." Terrence answered,. Clarence looked at Terrence in the eyes as if he's searching if what the Alpha is saying is the truth.
"How can you know? Have you been rejected by the person you fell in love with? Did that person doubt your feelings? Did that person tried to abort your baby? We may not be close but I know you. You have two sons I don't know who the mother is but at least they are alive." Clarence sarcastically laugh as if mocking Terrence for trying to know better.
"I never hide the fact that I have two sons but we need to answer all your questions one by one first. I did fell in love with an Omega too and that person is the mother of my two sons and my youngest." Clarence cough after Terrence revealed about the youngest child he has. "Youngest? How?"
"Do I really need to explain? Of course we had sex!"
"No not that?" Clarence shouted back.
"Let me finish first! That person did doubt my feelings towards him of course during that time he's already pregnant with my youngest."
"How? Are you just playing with him?" Clarence asked.
"Nope, he run off of me you get it? I dare you to interrupt me one more time." There's already a hint of warning to Terrence voice.
"Yes, of course I'll be quiet as the night." Clarence said while motioning if zipping past his lips together.
"My two boys are both by mistake. He took off and never to return again. Years pass we met again, he took off again, that time I didn't know he already gave birth to my two boys and raise them all by himself with the help of that old land lady." Terrence smile reminiscing that time. "When I got to him, I didn't know he's already pregnant with our third child. I tied him to me via contract, for me he's just someone to pass time. I convinced myself the thirst and lust will pass by once you had your fill but no matter how many times it's still there. I can't seem to let go." Terrence pour his glass a drink and took the shot. "When I realized my feelings he was already ready to run off again. So I tried to tie him down to me."
"Tie him down?" Clarence asked. "You mean, you bond yourselves to a consensual contract?" Clarence asked hopeful.
"Nope, I proposed to him. I took him to my family's house, introduced him and the next day got married."Terrence revealed.
"Wait everything happened so fast!" Clarence said.
"The best way to tie and Omega who can't trust someone's love is to give your heart to them, bare yourself, show them your love. Once you have their heart then that's the time they will fully stay, they won't run not unless you are in danger. I noticed that I don't know if it's just my wife but I do think they have this instinct to protect their Alphas even to the point of giving their life."
"I didn't know that you are married. Here everyone refers you as single."
Terrence gave him a victorious smirk and showed him his ring. "Married man.If you are already sure then marry them." Terrence explained things as easy as that.
"Clarence loving someone doesn't end in just telling that you love them. If you are serious as what you have claimed then start a proper relationship one that you both can build, one that can build and open the door of the possibilities of getting married." Jules added.
"He's right, my cousins really did grow up." Terrence pat Jules back hard. "Even Jules went to that phase but look at him now, happily married. My friends all went there too, even I is not an exception."
"What phase?" Clarence asked.
"Confusion and denial. For alphas like us who get whatever we want it's hard to admit that you have fallen in love. I'm glad that my cousin here didn't make any foolish mistakes me and most of my friends did. I'm also wishing for you not to make any more foolish mistakes."
Clarence didn't say anything for a minute. "Rion is different than you wife or your friends lovers. He's a..."
"A prostitute? Clarence can't you still see it by now that Rion is just a victim, he doesn't have any choice and that's what we are trying to break here, this is the reason why he's risking his life so there won't be anymore Rion Dunst in the future." Terrence tried to explain. "Don't get me started with I don't understand you cause of all people here I do understand your situation the most. My wife you've met him, he's the one who throw you on the floor earlier remember?" Terrence can see the surprise in his eyes.
"How can an Omega?"
"Be that strong?" Terrence showed him a very proud smile. "My wife has been through a lot and as his husband it is only natural for me to protect him but I realized that protection is not enough with the life that he has before. Chester was once a prostitute just like how Rion was he lost a baby. When both him and I met was just a fateful accident and I'm very thankful that I was the one who found him that day. When we built our family I thought it was the end of his nightmare but it was not. He's almost due when he suddenly disappear only leaving me and my twins with a letter telling me he run off with his lover." Terrence drink the alcohol that's been sitting in his glass, he let it run through his throat hoping it would ease up the pain and anger he feels inside whenever he thinks those times when he's not with Chester when he was suffering alone, when he was burying himself in the arms of the other women while his pregnant wife was being violated countless of times by other men. He really wanted to kill that man although those who had lay their hands on Chester are now friends with the worms six feet underground he still wanted to save the best for last to that man brought Chester and his family that pain.
Clarence laugh "So your wife run off with another man, so what happened? How did he end up throwing me if he run off with the another man? Don't tell me you still took him back after he cheated on you? I understand he's pretty but ..."
"He was set up and black mail, using me and the kids." Terrence cut him off. "My wife is a toy for that man who's running that Omega prostitution and the very same man one who's handling and managing the Omega trafficking. He found out about him married and all, took my wife violated him countless of times while he's pregnant with our youngest."
"My wife Chester lost his child with that man before, people like him or Rion doesn't have a freedom nor an option they don't have much choice. It still hurts him whenever he remembers the baby back then but now he can't remember about it."
"Why does he have some sort of amnesia?" Clarence said sarcastically.
"5 years. I've lose my wife for five years. The man who violated him throw him to his underlings, made turn on who's to fuck my wife next." Terrence lean his head back ward and tightly shut his eyes as if trying to shake away the image of Chester being violated by those monsters while he's still pregnant with their son Thirdy.
"Omega doesn't feel pain when they are having sex, they always feel the pleasure regardless on who they sleep with that's why they are the perfect commodity when it comes to sex industry." Clarence said those things out of nowhere.
"This is the very reason why Omegas are being violated, why they are being taken advantage off because us Alphas and betas normalize the mindset that it's ok for Omegas to be taken advantage off. Have you ever thought that even though their bodies wanted it but deep inside they are feeling dirty, ashamed and wreck till there's nothing left to repair in them, that the very fact they feel pleasure out of it breaks them down? Most of them got used to it to the point that the feeling of getting violated is ok since they are only born to be a cum dumpster. A phase that most Alphas have to go to before they settled in with a life of another Female alpha of their own. A release of sexual pent up frustration. When I became Chester's husband and when I thought that there's a possibility of my child being an Omega I got scared, scared for my child to think that it's ok for him to be in that position. I got scared for my wife to be treated with disrespect and disgust. I'm the man of my family my goal is to love and give them the best that I could offer. I never once wanted him to be violated or feel the pain of being forced to by the others who is not his alpha, the man who marked and owns him. You know how marked Omegas are he wouldn't had enjoyed it even the slightest when another Alpha other than his Alpha touched him." Terrence looked at Clarence sharply. "Now I know why Rion doesn't even want to entertain the idea of starting a relationship with you, because you think so little of them. Jules there's nothing to talk here your friend doesn't deserve to have a relationship with Rion as much as to be a father of his child who has a chance to be an alpha or an Omega." Terrence took his jacket but Clarence pulled him back.
"I'm sorry, that came out of nowhere. I was I was I don't know. I don't know. All I ever can think of is him. Every since I saw him at the hospital. He's the only one I ever think of. I'm losing my mind. I shouldn't be with him because I'm taking care of my political career. I want this country to be better. I want it really that's why I need to find a perfect partner and Rion is not that person. I know it, I know but I want him."
"Is that why you confess to him in the lobby?" Jules asked.
"Rion is right that was just an impulse action because I was happy that he's pregnant with my child but I can't marry him. I can be the perfect lover for him but not his husband." Clarence drop on the couch after he revealed his true feelings. Terrence sit on the opposite coach facing Clarence. A long silence came in between the three men until Terrence spoke first.
"Clarence this is just an advice you need to let Rion go. I have spoken with Rion earlier I talked to him about the abortion I convinced him not to abort the child and he agreed. He doesn't want to take part with his own child's life so after giving birth he will give the full right and custody of the child to you. I came to see if maybe I can help you with Rion but I guess it's not the right thing to do. You don't deserve him Clarence, you will only end up hurting him just like how a friend of mine ended up hurting his lover. I will conform with Rion's decision, I will object with your idea of living together it won't be good to him now when it comes to the child all rights will be yours once Rion signed the papers but I'll only make him sign those after he has given birth if his mind is still the same then the child's custody will be yours in exchange you won't ever come near nor show your face to Rion.".
Clarence body stipend, he felt cold all of a sudden. If he only wanted the child he should be jumping up and down but he's not happy at all the fact that Rion doesn't want anything to do with his life if what's hurting him. "What should I do to keep both my child and Rion?" Clarence asked out of nowhere. Terrence was ready to walk out of the door when he heard Clarence asked him that.
"Think carefully and make a decision. Once you make up your mind you find me and tell me your answer." Terrence smiled at the man.
"My father won't like him for me." Clarence added.
"I thought my parents won't like my Kitten but boy I thought wrong. When someone assaulted my wife because the husband of that woman was my wife's client, My Mom and Dad didn't stay still, when I had doubt with my love to Chester because of his AV and sex videos my father reminded me again that my love outweighs all of my wife's dirty past. Whenever I think that I was having a hard time handling my wife's dark past then I always ask myself how does my wife feels whenever he was recognize, or when he remembers it, he must have felt ten times more horrible than what I'm feeling. People like them who had been to such life they don't need us to remind them because they know it too well, what they need from us is to understand them, love them despite that and to see them in a different light than how people around them sees them. Clarence make up your mind, if you do choose him I will help you to win his heart."
"Why are you doing this?" Clarence asked.
"Ever since my Kitten met him he always wished for his happiness even though he doesn't remember that he used to be one just like Rion. I don't know why but maybe Chester can see himself to him, specially now that he remembers and he knew about his job before. He really wish for him to be happy, to feel the same happiness that he feels right now. That's why I wanted to help you if you are being serious about him."
Terrence got up from his seat, he doesn't want to stay there much longer. He wanted to go home to his kitten, to hug and feel his warmth. He wanted to feel spoil so he decided that he will act like a child to be spoiled tonight but all his happy thoughts were stoped when he felt a hand hold him. "Help me, I will go crazy. I'm still not sure about this feeling but but I can't think straight if I know Rion won't be by my side. The baby is not enough or maybe maybe I'm just using the child as an excuse to tie him down to me, for him to need me."
"Will you mark him?" Terrence suddenly throw him a big question. Though Alphas who marked an Omega can still sleep around and mark another Omega still they won't bite an Omega that easily, only a few Alphas are willing to bite an Omega's nape to bond an Omega to them. They find the process so cheap and degrading to the point that it became a very surprising thing to even see an Omega who is mark.
"No let me change the question, do you want to mark him?" Terrence asked once again.
"Did you ever regretted marking your wife?" Clarence asked.
Terrence showed him a very proud smile. "It was the best mistake I made in my life, if I will to got back I will bite him again and again without question."
"Biting my wife is like signing an exclusive contract making that person yours fully so no regret. Well I have worked hard to make him let me bite him, I even begged." Jules admitted shyly.
"To be honest, I wanted to bite him. Maybe that's the reason why I gave him that collar to protect him from myself but it's funny he didn't even change the biometrics registered to it so how can you call it a protection from me when I know I can easily just open it. Then I convinced myself it was a protection against those who wanted to take what's mine. With me marking him with that collar it's like he's already marked as mine." Clarence said. "I still can't answer that, I'm still confused." Clarence admitted in all honesty.
"After hearing your thoughts, I can't let Rion stay with you." Clarence stand up and punch Terrence.
"Who are you to say that?!" Clarence voice echoed in
"I'm his lawyer, you who are you to decide?" Terrence fought back the angry stares that Clarence is giving him. The pheromones in the atmosphere is slowly spreading all throughout the massive living room of Clarence mansion, even Jules knew that if he's not a dominant Alpha he probably would've pass out by now as he can hear the sounds of people collapsing outside the receiving room. Jules knew it's probably some of the guards who can't stand the pheromones releasing by two dominant alphas.
"I'm the child's father, I have the rights..."
"Clearly you know nothing, you don't have the rights over the unborn child. All the rights are solely belongs to the one who's carrying the child so what rights it is that you are talking about? You are not his husband and most importantly you are not his mate. You're simply just a man who happens to fertilize his eggs. You don't even want to own up to your own feelings and yet you want to take possession over Rion and your unborn child. Your selfishness will destroy him or worse might cost you your child's life." Terrence push Clarence away.
"Make up your mind, if you are serious then show it and if not then leave my client alone. I will talk to Rion, if he's still want to change his mind to aborting the child then I will send him to a good doctor." Terrence left without waiting for his cousin.
"Hays," Jules sigh at the sight of his friend. He's not the usual Clarence who's always neat, respectful and formal. He's the very sight of a man who seems to lost everything.
"He's bluffing." Clarence laugh. "Where would he get the security to protect Rion. I know he's bluffing."
"Unfortunately he's not. The only reason why we didn't bother Terrence with regards to Rion's safety is because he's doing almost everything to this case. Terrence has a way of placing good security to protect Rion. Just one word to his parents and they will gladly help. You know nothing Clarence, you don't know who is the person and family you are provoking. Fix yourself Clarence, don't bother Rion for a while he's a wreck after you said those things to him." Jules pick up his coat.
"Do I have the right to choose him, my country needs me, you understand the things I give up for my dreams right? That's why you are my best friend because you understand. You know that I have to be the best in order to lead this country's future." Clarence whispered while looking blankly to the space.
Jules sighed he sit on to the coach. "I do understand you because I thought the same thing, that's why we are best of friends. I know in the line of work I have I probably won't be able to marry or probably I'll just settle to just anyone to continue the bloodline but after meeting my wife Axel I realized I do have a choice. I can actually choose him. I can actually risk the fact of not having someone to inherit my surname or to be a father that I always wanted to be. You know that I love kids I just don't love to be in a relationship."
"I don't get it." Clarence looked at Jules blankly.
"There's a big chance that Axel won't conceived a child, his reproductive system stoped developing when he's young. His tubes are severed. He avoided me when he's developing feelings towards me. He doesn't want to accept me though that time I was already crazy about him. I realized I have a choice and I made him realize that he too has a choice. You're lucky Clarence, if only you will open your eyes and see what's infront of you then you'll realize how lucky you are. You just need to choose what your heart truly desire. Jules stand up and pat Clarence shoulder.
"If you can't even fight your decisions to other people how can you fight for this country." Jules left Clarence

"I heard what happened." Aiden said. When Rion opened his eyes it was already morning.
Rion looked at the people inside his room, they are all Omegas, some of them he only seen for the first time and he doesn't know why they are even there in the first place.
Aiden noticed that he has been looking at the people inside the room. "Ow they are friends, they are Omegas just like us. They accidentally saw us and since it's in their nature to pry into someone's business they tag along to cheer you up." Aiden explained.
"Yes, I heard what happened. I saw you on TV and you are so pretty!" Nicolas squeal as he praise Rion. "I'm an Omega as well mother of 1, he's 13 now."
"I'm Theodore, I'm an Omega too, I just want to support my fellow Omega. I hope you get better."
"Dexter, well I'm not an Omega but I'm a father of one." Dexter said.
"He gave birth to that cute baby that will probably a playboy when he grows up." Nash interject. The people inside the room who watched Nash come inside went silent for a moment and then run towards Nash and hug the Omega.
"NASH!" they all shout and gave Nash a warm hug.
"Sorry I told him." Dexter said, Nash placed the basket of fruits on the table.
"What is this the wives and lovers huddle again?" Axel said, he just came in and again they all swarm to the newly arrived person.
"Sorry to interrupt but can I talk to the patient?" George who just came in said after she saw the crowd.
"Is she working in this hospital too?" Nicolas whispered to Aiden.
"A part timer, the hospital asked her to cover someone's shift. The doctor went to an emergency indefinite leave and the only person they trust all the important work is my sister in law. Since she's working here part timely I asked her to take care of Rion's pregnancy." Aiden explained.
"Rion Dunst? I'm Dr. George Miller. I have read your records and seen the ultrasound. The baby is a bit malnourished and a little weak but I heard that you are considering of terminating the pregnancy? isn't that right?"
Rion nodded his head. "My child would be better off not seeing and experiencing the saddest truth about this world just like I do." Rion's voice start breaking as soon as he opened his mouth. "That's what I thought at first but I also thought that maybe he can also be my salvation, a redemption to all the lives of the babies I have thrown away so for a moment I thought of keeping it. I I can just hide it from its father but it didn't took long before he found out. I didn't want the baby to be a burden to him in the future and I don't want my baby feel abandoned once his father have his own family."
"Why don't you want to keep your child for yourself Rion?" George asked.
"I can't raise a child. I'm too broken for that. I can't have my child growing hearing people calling me names, I can't stand people calling my child names and most of all I don't want my child to experience what I have been through if every my child will be an Omega just like me. I never went to school, I don't have a job then only living I know is to sell my body. How should I raise a child?" Rion's tears drop one by one. "It's better if..."
"Adoption, have you ever considered it? There are a lot of people who can't have children. I don't want to say this but I know an abortion takes a lot of toll to a mother's mental health. It may look like the mother has not been going through a lot after the process but in reality it wrecks them inside. It's not always an easy decision added to the fact of the prejudice of the people towards abortion. You have been to three abortions and base on you record probably one miscarriage which you didn't declared. The reason I spoken with you is to encourage you to think carefully of your decision and to also to give you options other than abortion. You can give me an answer, our country allows pregnancy termination up to 16 weeks." George held Rion's hands.
"Rion, you are a great mother, don't let other people tell you you are not just because you made those choices. I know even when you decided to give up your children's life I know you have their best interest in mind. I am speaking not as your doctor but as a friend." Rion hugged the woman in front of him. Not once people told him he's a good mother, they judge him for making that decision of aborting his children. The disgust and condemning looked in the Doctor's eyes who performed the surgery is still burned to Rion's mind. The words of relief of those men who got him pregnant and their complement on how heartless he is for going through the abortion even though the first time he was forced to do it. The whispers of those who's selling him to those men that tells his customers that it's ok to release inside and assures them that even if he gets pregnant there won't be a child who will born out of his womb.
"Take your time to decide, you have plenty of it." George pat Rion's back till the later fell asleep crying.
"How is he?" Aiden asked.
"Have you referred him to any Psychiatrist? He may look ok on the outside but I'm pretty sure he's pretty much broken in the inside." George said.
"I do know one." Axel said.
"Who? That wacky perverted Doctor who's your doctor." Nicolas sarcastically asked.
"Who's that Doctor?" Aiden asked.
"He's a good Doctor probably look and sound crazy but he's quite good though." Axel said. "I'll talk to my husband, he just begged that Doctor to see me as per that wacko." Axel explained.
"Great but if ever that crazy Doctor won't agree at least tell me so I can refer him to another one." George said.
"Thank you." Aiden said, holding George hand.
"Ai, can I check you for a minute?" George eyes flush with worried.
"Is there something wrong?" Aiden asked.
"No, it's just I want to make sure. I'll just have your blood tested that's all." George smiled nervously. "Are you still taking your contraceptive?" George asked.
"I stopped." Aiden admitted honestly.
"Then it's not good." George whispered, she took he phone out and called someone. "Hon it's me, call Dad tell him to cancel all Aiden's affair. I need to check on him. I'll have him confined tonight to make suret till I get the results."
"What's going on?" Aiden asked.
"Ai, I felt your pulse it's the pulse of someone carrying a life but yours is not good. Do you have any history of miscarriages? How about Lander he's fine when you carried him right? but why? Maybe it's because of long usage of contraceptives. Either way we need to make sure." Aiden felt like he lost his strength. He remembers the incident of his first child the reason he experienced those miscarriages. The reason why his babies can't hold much longer inside his womb. He completely forgot the fact that his womb has deep scars. He hold his tummy and tried to feel it. His heart is pounding, the more the thought is sinking through him the more his body is turning ice cold "L-Lance." Aiden whispered before he lost consciousness.
