Chapter 22: im the devil.
im a lazy piece of sh*t so only one chap today, but to be honest at this point all of you should have expected this :p

once the headmaster of Atlas academy saw how much energy the Arc reactor can produce he started to consider giving Lucifer the relic. at the end they got into an agreement, when the Arc reactor will be build and will be proved that it indeed will be capable of generating such energy then he will hand Lucifer the relic.
the headmaster of the academy was also the General of the Atlas army, his name was James Ironwood, though Lucifer had gave him the nickname "Flacidwood" much to the General irritation.
if you are wondering why Lucifer was so..."unfriendly" with James, well...its simple, he was a d*ck and Lucifer didnt like him one bit
he was one of Ozpin "inner circle" who knew about Salem. when Lucifer and the rest told him that they come for the Relic, the first thing that he did was point a gun at him and asking him how he knew about them. he simply told that Ozpin told him and that he was send to collect them by him
one call to Ozpin later and he finally lowered his gun, but never let go of it...
after this the whole rest of the day was spend talking about the Arc Reactor and where they could find the resources for it. the biggest problem was the fact that they need to "discover" a whole new element to create it...but that was explained how to do also in the instructions so it wasnt THAT big of a problem
now...now they just need to wait until the Atlas Scientist get the job done and move to the next, and last kingdom to get the relic of knowledge...hmm this will take WAY longer then a week...he may want to go and visit Salem to tell her about it...
and he did! when no one was looking he sneaked out of his room and went outside, once he made sure he was alone he changed into his "original form" and he could feel the familiar feeling of three set of wings on its back.
in just a moment he disappeared and flew to Salem castle

Salem:(its almost been a week already...)
she thought to herself, as she was waiting for Lucifer to come back and solve her immortality problem
Cinder: Mistress!
said Cinder one of her "loyal" minions...a false maiden, she manage to stole a part of the Fall maiden powers but she couldnt use them properly because of it. right now the Original Maiden was under beacon where she was kept alive in the hopes that they will find someone else to transport her power to
Salem: sorry, i have been thinking about something...what did you want?
Cinder: there is an intruder in the castle!
Salem: deal with him then.
Cinder: well...
---flashback---
she watched as Hazel, the strongest of Salem subordinates was just slapped away into the wall without any problem by this 6 winged teenager with horns on his head
Lucifer: so will you tell Salem that i wa-
he didnt had the pleasure to finish as a wall of fire hit him. smirking to herself she thought that problem was solved and the boy was dead but...
Lucifer: as i was saying-
and once again he was interrupted as he, side stepped and evaded a green haired girl trying to hit him from behind
Emerald: what!?
he then hit the side of her head with his elbow successfully making her pass out. he took a deep breath and then exhaled it slowly
Lucifer: im this close...
he said as he raised his hand making his thumb and index finger almost touching
Lucifer: ...to decide and kill you guys...
she may be arogant but she isnt stupid, whoever this was, he was powerfull and she didnt want to take her chances...that earlier blast was her full power so its not like she would be able to put a fight anyways...
---end flashback---
Cinder: all of us failed...
just as Salem was about to call her and the rest useless she suddenly stopped and the realization hit her
Salem: (Lucifer?)
Salem: let him in
hearing this Cinder politely bowed her head and smirked internally, she knew the teen was powerful but surely he isnt more powerful then her mistress right?
soon a familiar face entered the Throne room
Lucifer: Salem! how is my favorite immortal girl doing?
Salem: are you saying this because im your favorite immortal girl, or because im the only one you know?
Lucifer: nah, i know a few and all of them are, pardon my language "a bunch of busty thots"
while this was happening Cinder was watching the interaction with a shocked look on her face, who was this boy and why is he speaking with her mistress so casually??
Salem: what is a "thot"?
Lucifer: a Wh*re that will do anything to get into your bed
Salem: i see...anyway, have you come to fulfil our agreement?
Lucifer: well actually this will be harder than i imagined. i need more time
she let out a sigh, she was irritated but we are speaking about removing Immortality, of course it would be hard so she understood why he needed more time
Salem: well. while you are here, do you want something to drink?
Lucifer: Tea if you dont mind
she nodded and send Cinder to the kitchen, where all women should be (my GF allowed me to use this joke pls dont kill me ;-;)
and they themself had moved to the dining area
Salem: you know, i have been wondering...i never saw a faunus such as yourself.
Lucifer: thats because im not a faunus.
this peaked her interest
Salem: oh? what are you then?
Cinder: Tea is ready.
said Cinder while walking into the room holding a cup of tea and a glass of wine, she placed the tea in front of Lucifer and then passed the wine glass to Salem
Lucifer: thank you, as for what i am, i'm a devil.
*holy music stops*
Lucifer: the lord of hell to be exact

the bombshell he dropped on the two of them was something they were not ready for
