Chapter 6: Material Selection
As the basic idea of weapon is formed then it is time to pick the correct materials for making the spear.
For pole of the spear we require sturdy metal which durable and flexible and light in weight. I searched whole list of one star materials and shortlisted five materials.
1.Sugar Wood. It is a type of material which is light weight and commonly used 1 star metal in Bows.
2.Coal Strip as the name suggests it is made from combination of coal and steel. It is heavy and flexible but it is most commonly used material in spears and hilts of swords.
3.Ant crawler metal is type of liquid extracted from mutated ants which is soldified. Can be molded in any shape and long durable mostly used in ice type of weapons.
4.Seagle Bone is metal which is taken from seagle animal which long in length which is perfectly fit for spear. But is rare in our village.
5.Matchless steel which is improvised form of steel which is used 1 star guns and Bows.
After careful consideration and available funds i selected sugar wood as inner stuff which can be covered with matchless steel as outer layer.
Normal spear is size of 5 to 13 feet i want to make my spear with a size of 18 feet pole with 3 feet spear head.
18 feet pole is to be dived into 3 parts that is 6 feet each.
Now i have to select material for different types of heads to be made.
For explosive type of head i made a choice of lava core, for poison type Catgrass material. I thought of only two types of heads for competition.
Next is the time for making of blue print for my first 1 star weapon.
