Chapter 22: Reality???

Tanner looked across the dance floor, and accidentally locked eyes with Areal. She smiled, and gestured toward the back entrance with her head. Tanner took that to mean she wanted to talk, so he told Briana he'd be back in a few minutes, and went around to the glass doors. He emerged outside and looked around for Areal. He spotted her, and she beckoned to him with her right hand. He approached, and followed her over to a grove of palm trees. She stopped, looked back, and beckoned again. Again, he followed. He had no clue what Areal had in mind, but didn't sense anything wrong in the atmosphere, so he didn't expect anything unusual. Areal grabbed his arm, and pulled him into the safety of a cave. The entrance was covered in vines, so it provided complete cover. He was looking at the walls of the mini cavern, when Areal spoke.
