Chapter 9: Face to Face With The Murderer
As one day when Kim Chul was sitting idle on his living room binging on to some horror movie suddenly his mobile phone rings.
Kim Chul: Yes! Kim Chul here!
Alex: Hey Chul! It's me, Alex. I have got a new phone. Just delete the previous number & save this one.
Kim Chul: Oh Alex! It's you, I didn't recognized you by your voice.
Alex: What are you doing today by the way?
Kim Chul: Not much I was sitting idle at my home. Why do you have any nice plans for today?
Alex: I think you don't want to sit idle anymore? What about a party?
Kim Chul: What party? Where? And I have not got any invitation.
Alex: My friend in which century are you living in today 's world parties you don't need any invitations. Just get ready I'm coming to pick you up.
Kim Chul: Okay then see you in a while.
( Kim Chul gets a bath & gets ready for the party within that period of time Alex reached Kim Chul's house doorstep & pressed the doorbell. Kim Chul says from the dressing room wearing a blazer from his wardrobe).
Kim Chul: Wait a moment! I'm coming!
(Alex says to Kim Chul standing on the other side of the entrance door).
Alex: Atleast, open the doors Chul.
Kim Chul: Okay, okay (And Kim Chul opens the door for Alex).
Alex: Chul! I have told you to be ready before I come to pick you up.
Kim Chul: I have to just do my hair. Wait for a second, Alex.
(As Kim Chul was doing his hair suddenly hears Alex speaking to someone & with that female tone was also was able to hear).
Kim Chul: Hey Alex, Is there any person other with you.
(Meanwhile, Kim Chul comes out of his dressing room).
Alex: Chul meet Sara, my love.
Sara: Hi
Kim Chul: Hi (In an awkward manner).
Sara: Mr Kim, you don't need to be awkward just enjoy. (And Sara shakes her hands with Kim Chul).
Kim Chul: Alex, brother as you used to say you got a beauty at last.
Alex: Ha...Haaa(Laughs out loud). Yes, that's right.
Sara: Oh, don't flatter me! Me Kim.
Alex: Now, what are you guys waiting for? Let's party tonight.
(And all three of them drives towards the party place. From a distance itself music was coming jumping towards to the trio).
Sara: I'm very much excited. I have heard that it's a party thrown by a huge businessman in this area.
Alex: Yeah! I have also heard a lot about him. What was his name?
Sara: Alex, you always mix up with people's name.
Kim Chul: It was one of his old habits. (With a smile on the face).
Sara: According to me his name is Jimmy Grandular. He is a business tycoon & he is the only heir of Sky Limit Pvt. Ltd.
Alex: What? Sky Limit Pvt. Ltd. Waah!
Kim Chul: Sara, how do you know this much about him?
Sara: Oh! You don't know I am a reporter from KB news.
Kim Chul: Okay, now I got it. I was wondering how can someone know these all about one person so deeply.
Alex: Wait for the party is to an end. Here we are!
Sara: Alex don't drink too much.
Alex: Okay, babe.
(Then the trio parks the car in the parking spot & enters the party hall).
Alex: Wooohooo! Let's party! Come on Sara let's can'te. (Then suddenly). Chul this why we colleagues always asked you to get a girlfriend.
Kim Chul: That perfect lady never came in front of me?
Alex & Sara: Then find her! (Both together).
(Then the couple goes for dancing meanwhile Kim Chul take a look of the party place & speak to himself).
Kim Chul: Chul you were wrong this whole life you were not rich this is how rich people live.
(Suddenly some girls from nowhere came & invited Chul seeing him standing alone for playing party games & Chul joins them. After so much fun he by mistake spills his drinks over a girl).
Kim Chul: I'm so sorry, Ma'am. I will clean the stain for you.
Girl: Chul, Is that you?
Kim Chul: Do I know you? Miss.
Girl: Am Lee Bi Seon who used to study with you in high school.
Kim Chul: Bi Seon, Is that you! You changed a lot. Literally, you are more beautiful than from school.
Lee Bi Seon: Yeah, I know in high school's I had got a nerdy look.
Kim Chul: Hey, What do you do know?
Lee Bi Seon: I'm a police officer now.
Kim Chul: Then you may know Akshay?
Lee Bi Seon: Yeah! Our new Chief. Do you know him?
Kim Chul: Yes! We are like brothers.
Lee Bi Seon: Tell me about yourself? What do you do?
Kim Chul: I work for NIS.
Lee Bi Seon: Are you an agent?
Kim Chul: No, you are mistaken. I'm just an office worker. (Knowingly hides the truth).
Lee Bi Seon: Oh, it so noisy here. Let's move to a calmer place.
(The duo moves towards the parking space & starts talking about the current situations of life. In between Lee Bi Seon asks Kim Chul).
Lee Bi Seon: Anyway, how do you got to know about the party.
Kim Chul: I came here with my two friends. I was just sitting idle at home.
(Meanwhile, a luxurious car came to the entrance of the party gate & Jimmy Grandular gets out of the car & as he sees Lee Bi Seon).
Jimmy Grandular: Hey, Bi Seon. How are you? (Shouts from a distance walking towards them).
Lee Bi Seon: I'm fine. What about you?
Jimmy Grandular: As always. Awesome!
Lee Bi Seon: Great.
Jimmy Grandular: Hmm, Boyfriend.
Lee Bi Seon: No his my old friend. Oh, I forgot to introduce you both to each other. Mr Jimmy, he is Kim Chul & Kim Chul he is my old man friend Mr Jimmy Grandular.
Jimmy Grandular: Oh! What kind of introduction was that? (With a smile on his face).
Kim Chul: It's my pleasure meeting you, Mr Jimmy.
Jimmy Grandular: No, it's mine. Anyway, you both keep enjoying the party. I have some business partners coming to this party.
(As these conversations were over Sara & Alex came fully drunk).
Sara: Kim Chul! Alex & I are totally drunk you have to drive us back home.
Kim Chul: It's okay, I will manage. You both go & sit inside the car. I'm coming.
Sara: I think you got that perfect lady, Kim Chul.
Kim Chul: What are you saying, Sara. Just go & sit in the car.
(Kim Chul then sends both of them into the car & returns to Lee Bi Seon).
Lee Bi Seon: Are those your friends.
Kim Chul: Yeah! Alex & Sara.
Lee Bi Seon: We just talked about work! What's about your relationship status?
Kim Chul: Don't ask that it's like am going to be forever single. What about you?
Lee Bi Seon: Same here. Any way we can exchange our phone numbers. Is that okay with you?
Kim Chul: Yeah Sure!
(Then they both exchanges their phone number with each other).
Kim Chul: Okay Bi Seon! Call you later!
Lee Bi Seon: Okay, Chul. I will be waiting for your call.
(Then says goodbye & leaves the spot to send his friends home. While going back home he just rewinds the events happened in the party. And speaks to himself).
Kim Chul: Chul today's party was not a waste. I think Lee Bi Seon is interested in you.
(On Lee Bi Seon side also same thoughts were going on).
