Chapter 12: Chapter 9: Training and Truth
After that whole ordeal, the two individual and the robed guy and I separated ways. The robed guy said to me to follow him. I followed him but he is too fast. He is cheating because he's flying. Damn, wish I could learn how to fly.
"And that my friend is your first lesson, flight." Said the robed guy while he flew and returned to me. He truly can read my thoughts.
I opened my eyes wide and was excited. I could finally learn how to fly. I secretly looked at my status to check something. I was right. My health went down, 5 points to be exact. But why only 5 points? My health is equivalent to an average Earth human. Probably because of my high defense and endurance, also maybe the regenerative ivory started to generate during all of that.
"You don't need to secretly access the system, I know of it." The robed guy exclaimed while looking at me with a gentle smile.
I was surprised for a moment. Who is this guy? I went ahead to ask his name.
"Excuse me sir, but can I know your name?"
"Fu fu, I am known as the Great Kurt, but you can call me just Kurt." The robed guy, named Kurt, said.
The Great Kurt huh. That's a grand name, I wonder who he is for him to obtain that title.
"Now let's start you training with flight." Kurt q
said and landed to the ground.
We trained and trained and I learned the skill, flight. We then moved on to other skills and abilities that I should learn.

Almost 100 years has gone by in terms of Earth years. I have learned a lot.

The system gave me a lot of notifications and displays on what I have learned, there was a lot. Truthfully, I learned a lot, if you haven't already know. At first I questioned Kurt why I should learn <Growth and Shrink> but I found out that the skill was extremely compatible with me. It was even transfered to my abilities.
I also learned <Ki Control> and <Ki Blast>. I can now do things the same as those popular anime on Earth. I also learned <Martial Arts> so I could protect and defend myself if I don't have any weapons. Kurt even went ahead and taught me the skills of punching and kicking. I could laugh inwardly at that.
Although, I don't know why I learned a skill that had three question marks. I looked at Kurt but he had a slight frown on his face while still smiling gently.
After we trained, Kurt approached me with a serious face.
"Now that your training is done. I will now tell you why you needed to train. I will also tell you the truth, the truth on why you are here. The truth of everything on why everything started."
It was finally about time I learned why I trained so much after all these years. When Kurt said the word truth, there was a thump in my body. It was as if hearing the word "truth" shook my very soul and body, then my pupils turned to golden with a pattern of spikes converging towards the retina. I needed to learn the truth.

"What I'm about to tell you is especially secret. I already have erected a barrier between the two of so that even if someone is next to us, they won't hear us no matter what they do, so we could talk freely."
I nodded.
"You needed a powerful comprehension and imagination to understand what I will tell you because what I'm about to tell you lies beyond the universe."
I nodded once again. Imagination huh, I'm good at that.
"Okay. At the beginning of everything, there was a creator named One. One day, he decided to create 323 <Infinite Globes> on a whim."
"So he is God and the <Infinite Globes> are our universe/s??" I asked.
"You could say that, but no. He is not God, he is not omnipotent and can die. And no, <Infinite Globes> are much, much larger than the multiverse."
What? So, the Creator wasn't a God that created these <Infinite Globes>? Then, is there no God? Or there's a God of the Creator?
"Moving on, One created all the <Infinite Globes> equally, but one <Infinite Globe> stood out than the rest. The <Infinite Globe 22> and that is where we reside."
"Why did our globe stand out? Is it special?" I asked.
"Yes, very, because <Infinite Globe 22> manifested a force in the <Infinite Abyss> called the <Omega Force>."
I felt a tingling sensation in my eyes when I heard that. I also felt something crunching from within my chest. Then a display showed up from the system.
[You have learned the origin of the Omega Force. Keep learning.]
What? I don't even know what that is!
As I was complaining, Kurt continued.
"One day, in the realm of One. He dreamt of a threat that threatens to destroy his home. He didn't know what to do because his power is useless when he is alone. He then went and contacted the <Omega Force> in <Infinite Globe 22> and asked for help."
"Isn't he supposed to be very powerful as he is the creator? With the power of a creator, he could do something about the threat." I asked.
"Of he is very powerful, but only if he is not alone. If he has someone on his side, he can do something about it. But even I don't know why he needed to contact the <Omega Force>."
"How did you know about this, Kurt?"
Kurt smirked at my question.
"I've been to the edge of the <Infinite Abyss>."
"Ehh? Shouldn't an "Infinite" Abyss be endless and no edge?" I asked because of Kurt's ridiculous claim.
"Hey! Let me finish!"
I nodded. During the 100 years of training, our relationship became close enough for us to be friends and remove honorifics when talking to each other.
"The <Infinite Abyss> only looked like it's infinite, but the truth is that there's a barrier. An illusion that you think that you are flying through the abyss with no end. Nonetheless, with my power, the illusion was rendered useless to me then I reached the edge."
I was listening very carefully that my whole concentration is focused on his story. I didn't notice a display that appeared next to me.
"Once I have reached the edge, I was met by an impenetrable wall, or rather a glass. There, I saw what was happening outside and saw One. I observed him for trillions and quadrillions of years to gather information about the outside globe, I also found out that time is very different inside and outside with a ratio of 1,000 years inside the globe and 1 second outside the globe."
My head was about to pop because of that revelation. It seemed easy to understand, but I feel that there is wall blocking my imagination and comprehension. I then asked Kurt and change the subject.
"So, what's your power?"
"Hey, this is not about me, it's about you!" Kurt exclaimed.
I cursed inwardly as my attempt to know about Kurt's power failed.
"The king of the <Omega Force> heard One's troubles and decided to help. He used the power of the <Omega Force> to choose a champion to fight with One. Do you know what that means?"
At that point, power swelled inside my eyes and I subconsciously stood up. A bloody red display immediately appeared in front of me as Kurt continued to talk. I also noticed a display that appeared before the bloody red display.

"You were the champion that the <Omega Force> chose alongside your companions, which is me and the three others that you met 100 years ago and eight others that you haven't met."
Something clicked inside of me. I felt pain surge through my chest. I looked at it and saw the regenerative ivory forming around my chest in a pattern where a golden Omega symbol is forming in the center of my chest.
The overflowing power in my eyes and my four limbs then converged towards my chest. I was afraid that an <Omega Laser> will be released again, but that was not the case. The coalesced energy was absorbed by my chest and condensed in the Omega symbol. Kurt then suddenly spoke.
"Are you now ready to return to Earth? Earth is in danger right now."
I was stunned by what Kurt said. Earth, but is has been more than 100 years since I transported, why would I go back? Then, as if Kurt read my thoughts, he answered.
"Relativity my friend. Earth is still the same way as it is. One day has only passed during our training."
WHAT?! I was genuinely surprised at what Kurt said once again. Then I remembered my two best friends back on Earth. I missed them after all these years.
"Then let's go now! I can't wait to get reunited with my friends! I'll introduce them to you."
Kurt had a wry smile and scratched his cheek with a finger.
"About that, well, you see..."
I had a bad feeling about this.
"Those two of your friends... You have met them 100 years ago."
"What do you mean?" I was confused.
"The purple woman and the saiyan were your friends. Ysabelle and Eduardo respectively."
I was stunned and my head felt like it's spinning. How did that happen?
"But 100 years ago, they said that you secluded yourself for millions of years. Which means, they were here for millions of years! But that's impossible!" I complained to Kurt as I cannot believe what he is saying.
"That was because of the rock that fell down on Earth a few meters in front of you. Do you remember?"
I strained my brain and tried to remember. Finally I remembered!
"The thirteen rocks that flew in thirteen directions. I was hit first then I saw two going towards Eduardo's house."
"Yes, that's it."
"But how and why did they have lived over millions of years here?" I had a sad expression and on the verge of crying.
"Well, the rock had a special property. Whoever was hit first will be transported last in this red planet and the last to be hit was transported first. Do you know who was hit last?"
I remembered that Kurt observed the creator for trillions and quadrillions of years at the edge of the globe.
"You?"
"Haha! Yes me! And you were the last to arrive here because you were hit first. Eduardo and Ysabelle were the 11th and 12th to arrive."
"So what Jacob was saying 100 years ago was about me? He claimed that I was too weak and waited after all those time for someone weak like me?
"Yes." Kurt answered.
I clutched my head in order to take everything in.
"Why didn't they recognize me 100 years ago? Did they lose their memories?"
"Oh no! They didn't. They just didn't recognize you because of your regenerative ivory and appearance, the same where you didn't recognize them because of their appearance." Kurt answered.
I remembered the saiyan I met 100 years ago. I almost laughed when Eduardo chose to take the form of a saiyan. I asked Kurt out of nowhere.
"Did all of them chose their appearance and powers all by themselves?"
"Actually, no. Their appearance and powers were given to them based on their expertise and state of life before the rocks hit them. For instance, Eduardo was an Enlightened Master Martial Artist and trained under the spirit of Sun Wukong, he also liked watching anime, therefore he obtained the appearance of Goku or a saiyan."
I was surprised when Kurt told me that Eduardo trained under Sun Wukong. Eduardo didn't tell me that back on Earth. You sly guy, but I am no different.
"Ysabelle on the other hand was an expert in technology and had the ability to dive in the virtual realms. She then took the appearance of the queen and goddess of cyberspace and virtual reality when she was transported here."
"I see." I nodded and gently smiled because both of my friends still has their passion within themselves.
Although, I wonder why my appearance is like this. I don't see any part of my body resembling anything that I'm an expert at or my state of life back on Earth. Kurt interrupted my thoughts.
"While I, myself, have a secret power, so I won't tell anyone."
Okay whatever. I mocked inwardly.
"Should we meet the others?" Asked Kurt.
I reminisced about the past when Eduardo, Ysabelle, and I were together. I smiled.
"Yes, let's go."
