"I understand Miss Elaine, I just want to sit next to her" Prince Skye pointed at Anberine who twitched sharply, seeing the horrified look on Anberine's face Elaine giggled softly at how he was acting. On the other hand Elaine felt uneasy for even thinking to allow the prince to sit next to the girl who he had upset relentlessly over the years, was he up to something?
"My Prince, she has a name" Elaine said lightly "Unfortunately I'm afraid I cannot separate her. The reason is that this is the group she started working with since the start of the year. I do find separating them would be a problem for everyone else for various reasons, so why don't you wait until the new year when I discuss the new the seating chart alright?" she asked with a bright kind smile, startled Prince Skye recovered quickly before nodding with a small smile.
"Yes Miss Elaine, it's just that I really wanted to sit beside her" Prince Skye said while his eyes showed honesty and longing stunning Elaine deeply, looking at Anberine she felt her heart clench in worry from seeing Anberine's unease. Not that Elaine could blame her since throughout even their younger years he had been unnecessarily cruel without any legitimate reason. At times it did leave Elaine feeling sorry for the girl given how the prince treated her. It was no secret he picks on her but to have him this close to his victim, just so he could make her life even more miserable was something Elaine had to put her foot down on. There was nothing to gain for allowing the King's heir to do whatever he pleases as it would no doubt lead to devastating consequences, a thing she would prevent with whatever power she had over the prince.
"I understand but it's the rules, now please get your quills and parchments ready I am going to hand out the tests" Elaine said softly. Anberine as she heard this mentally sighed heavily in relief, thanking the teacher in her mind for this small act of mercy. Despite the fact she would have to endure him later, at least this was something she could savour until then.

The king as he stood facing the window with his hands behind his back frowned deeply, his eyes showed he was furious about something but didn't show his fury to many people. But when he did it terrified those enough to the point that they would never be able to tell the tale.
"That boy..." he spat crossly as he heard reports of his son acting out with the minster's daughter, hearing the daughter brawling her eyes out to her father for what his son had done completely infuriated him.
He had plans, one of them was to have the minster under his thumb.
But how could he control more sectors of the kingdom if his son was insulting and pushing away the daughter?
What's more he had heard more reports from his sources that his son had been bothering a commoner girl- an orphan no less even more than ever.
Here he was trying to run a kingdom and carry out his plans, plans that involved the teenage Dark Dwellers who even now were informing that they were still discussing plans about what to do with current situations.
They kept to themselves and hardly told him anything to his anger, here he was offering them a chance to free their families and allies and here they were ruining it.
They were ruining everything!
The longer they took harder it was for him to even cover up the incidents that had been taking place.
Just thinking about the last person who went missing caused a sneer to form.
"He was a fool, but now that his sister has gone missing I would expect him to co-operate more efficiently" and the king was not disappointed, the next day after the incident the minster for the treasury had no longer opposed the king on ideas he had wanted to unleash.
Very soon the ministers who were disagreeing would now know and be kept in line.
It was either obey or they were stripped of power and influence.
Satisfied by his reports the king now had one last dilemma- his son.
"They say the prince was singing one night and was looking at flowers in the garden during the day, he looked dare I admit it- in love?" Hearing this from one of his sources made the corner of his left mouth go down in displeasure.
"That boy had better marry that minister's daughter or else he will be regretting that he ever existed" the king muttered before going towards his desk, once there he moved slowly a file to see another request to look into finding a missing person, seeing this he smirked coldly.
"Such a sad thing, but unfortunately... the one you are seeking is not even in the kingdom anymore" he mused with a mocking smile that would have someone would assume the king was looking sympathetic as he stared at the file.
However his eyes if one looked closely showed cruelty and sadistic glee from knowing that a plan of his came to fruition.
"But I do wish you luck on finding her, that is... if you can" he then threw the file into the bin and went back to the window, his eyes narrowed coldly at seeing his son going after a fiery red haired girl.
Just seeing the hair caught the king's eyes thanks to the bright colour.
To the king it looked as if the hair was actually on fire, which in turn intrigued him for a split second at how such a thing was possible.
Shortly afterwards he immediately remembered his son was following the girl.
His eyes soon went wide as he saw the girl turning to yell something at his son before a slap followed afterwards.
"Well... now, that warrants an investigation" the king commented softly as he saw his son holding his cheek for a few seconds before going after her again.
Seeing this response the king scowled deeply at how his son was acting and in front of their subjects no less.
"Stupid son of mine, he is a prince and yet he acts like a desperate fool when he knows not to act in such a manner" The king fumed crossly despite showing no emotions on his face.
"Bring him to me at once" The king ordered before a shadow that had been lurking near him moved away in a smooth manner that it looked as if something had fallen from the curtain beside him.
Feeling the presence leave the king's hands shook with rage.
He will not allow his son to ruin everything, not even for such mindless antics.
To add more anger he had heard more things that took place during the last week, things he would not allow to remain as they are.

"Leave me alone already, don't you have other things to do?" Anberine yelled angrily as she stormed out the hallway leading to the courtyard.
Her hair after rushing towards the closest bathroom when she had finished her exam paper had been turned to a fiery red thanks to anger she kept bottled up during class.
Most of it was thanks to the looks Prince Skye kept giving her despite the fact that he was suppose to be keeping his eyes on his own test paper.
He had even spoke to her after the teacher had taken their tests and had once again uttered a mindless stupid comment to her about her appearance.
Inside Anberine was sure that she could feel as if her entire body was overheating due to the repressed magic she continued to keep bottled up and not once did she use it in class, unfortunately it left her frustrated enough to explode from how bad things were getting.
Thankfully the teacher had took Skye to one side in order to speak to him about his behaviour during class.
