Chapter 4: The End Test Part 1
In order to win, she had to find the courage in herself to beat him. She crossed the finish line, in 1st place. She had won the first round. She looked up to the elders. The elders nodded their head in agreement. Alessia had won fair and square.
After, Alessia was allowed to go to the resting room to take a 2 hour break before the final test. Alessia was happy, and nervous at the same time. I WON!I WON! she thought. She couldn't believe that she beat Jackson."Wait, if I beat him once, can I beat him TWICE?" she wondered . . . .
It was the final round. All the contestants who passed the first round were taken outside of a black room. They were all supposed to enter the black room, with nothing, in the order that they finished the first round. So the last person who finishes the round, is the first to enter the black room. Since Alessia was the first to finish, she could get a hint, and could watch and observe what happens to the people in front of her in the test. After some amount of time, she heard a scream. Every 6 minutes, she heard a scream. " Since this is a black room with a door, could it be that the referee wants us to hear the scream? Does it mean that you fail the test if you scream?" Alessia wondered. "Tick,Tock,Tick,Tock" by each passing minute, she was getting more and more anxious. She shifted her feet in discomfort. The thick line in front of her was starting to lessen.
"So far, nobody had passed!" the referee suddenly announced. Alessia could see that Jackson was also getting nervous. He had started to chew his nails. This normally never happened. Before she knew it, the line in front of Alessia was gone. Jackson went in. After 6 minutes Alessia heard a scream of frustration that came from inside the black room. Jackson had failed the test.
