Chapter 2: A New Day To Start Wandering
"Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring!" the alarm went crazy this morning, I didn't know that I've set an alarm this early. It's 5 in the morning, I go downstairs and cooked breakfast for me and my dad. An hour went and my dad wakes from his deep sleep and eat his breakfast, while eating our breakfast someone rings our doorbell and I went to our door.
When I opened the door there's a girl waiting outside with a food in her hand, like Claire she's also good-looking.
"Good morning! my name is Kate. I heard from my parents that you're new here since yesterday. I brought a food today if you like."
She reaches her hand in mine and shake it while slightly blushing, she gave me the food and I told her to wait outside while I bring the food inside.
"Hey Kate sorry for making you wait, yeah we just moved here yesterday. Thank you for the food Kate! Are you the one who made that?
She replied with "Yeah I'm the one who made that food I hope you like it, so I'll just see you later if you want me to tour you to this city."
(IN MY MIND) "I've been getting a lot of invitations from girls lately."
"Yeah, I have plans today because I'll be checking universities today in this city. If you wouldn't mind is it okay that you'll be touring me later?"
"Oh yes, it's play since I'll be looking for schools to. Hey I'll be going back to our house let's meet later in 10:30 AM okay? You go to our house."
After our conversation, I go to the dining room to eat the food she brings to us.
"It's delicious right, the food she made? You've been getting a lot of girls today huh? Just don't be a playboy okay?, he's teasing me again."
"Hey Mark I'll be going to work today okay, my friend help me get a new job here. Oh hey have this money with you so you can have a great day."
"Yes dad, be safe okay thank you for this I'll be checking the schools later with Kate so I'll be okay."
After a few minutes my dad went to work and I cleaned the house and after many hours I took a bath, dressed with my new shirt and bathed myself with my perfume. After checking the house, I leave the house and go to Kate's house.
"Ring, Ring, Ring!", I rang her door and she shouted to me to go inside because it's open.
Hey Kate? where are you? I'm inside now. Their house is so clean. Maybe Kate did this. I wonder where's her parents.
Kate goes out of the bathroom without clothes but only a towel!!!
SH*T gotta look away!, as I look away I heard her giggle.
"You're a gentleman aren't you? Your girlfriend is very lucky to have you, wait for me here while I get dress upstairs."
Its fifteen minutes and she goes out of her bedroom looking beautiful. We go out of her house and head to the vehicle terminal.
"Hey Kate where are your parents working?"
"Oh my father's working in overseas as a Chef and my mom's not living in us anymore. They broke up in a certain reason... What about you Mark, where's your parents working at? I saw your father earlier walking outside to go to his work."
"My father's working as an Engineer so his always not in the house while my mom is gone three months ago, she's caught up in an accident and didn't survive it."
"Oh sorry Mark...", she replied.
After our quick ride in the city, we head out on our first school to inquire at. Kate will also be an incoming College Student in this year's semester. The first school seems good but their staffs are not very well accommodating and after inquiring we head out in the next school near it. The next school is better than the first one since their staffs are lively and good at entertaining specially in new students inquiring in their school. After inquiring we take a rest in the school cafeteria and while ordering food I heard a girl's voice nearby talking with the other girls and it definitely sounds like Claire so I told Kate to order first for herself because I'm checking something. Come to think of it, Claire didn't show up in my notifications in my social media account.
My intuition was right! It was Claire and she's with her friends talking and right after walking in their direction she looked to me and I saw her eyes widen because of being surprised, after that she stands up and go to my direction.
"Mark I'm sorry I forgot contacting youuuuu. How have you been? What are you doing in this school? Are you going to study here?"
"Nah Claire don't be bothered by it HAHA besides I'm the one that should be contacting you up. I and my friend here Kate inquires in this school. Are you studying here?"
Now its my chance to get her account lol.
"Hey Mark! I've been looking for you I thought you're lost., Kate said."
"Oh Kate this is the first person I talked in this city I met her last night at the festival."
They both introduced to each other and we talked about this school and agreed that this school is the best so I, Kate and Claire's friend inquire for the examination dates. After the discussion in the administration office. Claire and her friends part ways and before going she told me that she'll be contacting me later.
We decided to go home and rides a vehicle nearby.
While walking home she asked me a question.
"Hey Mark, do you have a girlfriend? Or perhaps you're a gay? HAHAHA, she teased me like how my father do at home."
"Noooo, its not like I don't have a girlfriend that I am a gay or a bisexual person."
After telling her my statement she looked at me seriously while walking home.
"Why are you looking so weird Kate? YOU'RE SO CREEPYYY."
I told her and she laugh.
"Can you go inside of our house? I'll be showing you something okay?., she replied.
"Oka--y..., I answered."
While walking with her, my mind started to think weirdly of her because of the things she showed me. The way she looked seriously earlier, her question about being in love and about going into her house. We reached her house and enters it.
