Chapter 2: It wasn't fixed.

"The survivors who managed to land safely in the dwarf planet were anxious and reckless as they wanted to hide before the empire comes to massacre them all. Most of them died instantly when they carelessly opened the enclosed cabin, exposing themselves to the unknown environment of the planet.

In one of the capsules, there were twenty-five people. Five more persons than the recommended maximum. A handsome middle-aged man in an impeccable suit. Six young teens in sports suits with the same design, and an adult woman keeping them calm. A family of three with a scared mother, a crying small girl and an anguished dad. A woman in casual clothes and a ponytail, a built man in military uniform, a crewman with a stoic face, and an unaware young man with glasses.

They all had some bruises from the abrupt landing but luckily they were all fine. In the middle of their despair, the military man raised his voice and blocked the door with his body stopping the desperate businessman who rushed to get out..."

Gigantic hermetic cubes were scattered outside the starship. Rie was inside one of them with a set of other passengers. She was writing as always.

There were 3 cubes with a capacity of 20 people each. The crew allocated 15 passengers per cube with 2 crew members to watch over them while te repair of the ship was done.

In total there were 45 passengers and 15 crew members including the captain on board of the transport starship. Now all the passengers were in the temporary camp made with these squared structured tents. Six crewmen were assigned to them and the other nine were in the ship working to fix the engine

Two days had already passed and there was no news of the repair of the ship.

The passengers in the temporary camp were nervous at the lack of news. A businessman in a fancy suit was murmuring with an ugly face something about his most probably lost inversions. A group of young teens were worried about their absence in an exam and another one was happy because of his real and valid excuse of absence.

A little girl was bored out of her wits, crying to her mother to let her go outside to play. The mother was so tired she threw the kid to its dad for him to care. The dad didn't know what to do as the kid was going berserk. 'Please save me' was written all over his face. The female crew member in charge was observing the nothingness with dedication while the male one was snoring soundly on her shoulder.

The crew didn't say anything but their faces showed that something wasn't right. Well, except for one face.

There was a decompression sound as a crew member with an immutable face made his way inside the little square that made the entrance of the accommodation cube. It separates the enclosed environment inside the tent from the planet one.

He brought the ration of supplies of the day. But before he can start distributing them, a woman with a serious face approached with resolution.

- Silas. - She greeted the newcomer in a serious tone. - I need Internet. - She demanded.

Silas was the stoic crewmen Rie met the day of the accident, he dodged her with ease and resumed his job. He announced in a monotonous tone the same line he said for three days in a row. - Please make a line, there's only one pack of rations per person. It must last you for the day. We will not give extras. -

Rie was dejected by the obvious negative. Not that she believed having Internet was possible on this desolate planet. She took advantage of the situation and was ready to take his pack of food and water when a high shout was heard.

- FOOD! - The small girl left her exhausted dad and ran straight for the crewman. Her curly ponytails flying behind her. Everyone made way for her and Silas gave the child 3 packs of rations for her and her parents, he almost threw them at her like feeding a starving savage animal who will eat his hand if one was careless.

No one dared to oppose her or complain about making a line. Fear the child's energy.

When the little tornado passed, a crowd formed around Silas. They weren't interested in the rations. - ¿When will we resume the journey? ¿How's the condition of the repairs? The stipulated two days had already passed! - Avaro, the not handsome businessman was the first to ask.

- Yes! When can we go home!? - The complaints were piling up. - I needed to report at work yesterday! - Said a young blonde woman. - My mom must be worried sick! She will kill me when I get home. Will you protect me from her wrath? Huh!? - Demanded some college boy.

Now, almost all the passengers were circling the entrance, protesting.

- The repair is in progress. It will take a few more days. - Silas answered like a robot. Meanwhile, Rie was reaching for the rations box wanting her's quickly son so she could flee from the numerous people that surrounded them. ¿Where was the line?

But before she could take it, the stoic crewman with the job of handling them slapped her hand away with a warning look. Then he handed her a pack. Rie took it, stuck out her tongue to him in childish vengeance and retreated with haste to a corner with fewer people.

Noting the commotion, Rita, the female crew member in charge of the cube tent shook awake his partner drooling on her shoulder, John, and they both rapidly approached to pacify the passengers and save their coworker.

After a short exchange of glances, Silas left the rations and their distribution to Rita and John and made a retreat, leaving the chaos and his job for his coworkers to settle.

----------------------------------------------------------

While munching a coal bar of proteins, vitamins and whatever, Rie opened her text editor to continue with her new novel. She left the work at the start of an argument between the survivors in the capsule, among them were the protagonist of her story. The one she still didn't think much about and whom she didn't have a name yet.

But when she opened the document she found a line she didn't remember writing.

"[The Empire didn't attack the ship. Space pirates attacked them.]"
