Chapter 796: Hope

"Sniff.."

A girl currently sat on a bed with glossy eyes, and the fact that they were slightly red, definitely meant that she had been crying for a good while now. Her hair was not properly combed, and she seemed a little thinner. She definitely seemed like a depressed person.

This girl was Synthia.

Rihanna's disappearance had a huge impact on her. And, each day, sitting in her room, she laughed and cried at her helplessness. She couldn't do anything. She didn't even know where to begin her search for Rihanna.

"Knock!"

At this moment, a knock sounded on Synthia's door, but she acted as if she hadn't heard it at all. In the past few days, her friends have come repeatedly to cheer her up, and bring her out, but they have been unsuccessful.

"It's me, open the door.."

A familiar voice came through the door, and Synthia brows perked up a little. She had recognized the voice obviously. It belonged to Max, and she knew he wasn't the kind to visit her for no reason.
