Chapter 140: Alison Dixon

John had briefly spotted the mint green woman as he escorted another of the bridesmaids down the aisle but he hadn't gotten a good look at her until they made it to the reception hall. She was tiny—practically the size of a child—but she couldn't be one because of her hair.

The fact that she was wearing high heels and makeup also added to the obvious fact that she was an adult. But why on earth was she wearing a dress like that with her hair color? Was she trying to look like a pastel dessert or what?

She looked like one of those fancy little multicolored French cookies. Those things never seemed to match their flavors to their colors. Once he had tried a strawberry-flavored one that was blue. Very misleading.

Who on earth was she? And why did she look a tiny bit familiar?
