Eva's sister wasn't what Hazel expected. Based on all of the stories she had heard, she expected her to be some sort of beautiful goddess of mischief.
Savannah Webster's hair was the same shade of brown as her sister's but it was longer and had obviously spent a lot of time with a hair curling wand this morning. She had nice teeth—well, she was a dental hygienist—and dimples in her cheeks when she smiled.
But she wasn't the supermodel Eva described her to be. Admittedly, she was thinner than her sister with a more oval-shaped face and did have delicate features but her beauty wasn't the stuff of legend like Hazel had been led to believe.
And she didn't seem like an impish little brat either. She was dressed sensibly in a button-down long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and boots and wasn't nearly as exuberant as her sister in her greetings.
My super talented sister drew the new cover and I love it! She captured the unique dynamic between my babies Hazel and Will in the beginning of the novel so well <3
