1st Crush
So I let me tell you about how I met Gino.
At first, I just knew about him before I met him. Gino was the uncle to one of Mama's clients Lorenzo aka Zo, that got caught up in the drug game. Gino was so appreciative of my mom for keeping his nephew out of jail that he wanted to take her out on a date and they hit it off. They started dating regularly and he lavished my mom with so much, that she was taking me on trips with her and Aunt Sheri, or we would go on shopping sprees or do some other cool activity.
The drip that mama and I got was so juicy from indulging in his money. It was all because Gino gave her a credit card so she could get to anything she wanted. Actually, now that I think about it, I think the credit card I'm using, is the one that Gino gave to her when they were dating. Oh well...
Gino as spoiling us so much, and he and mama we're getting along so well that my mom thought it was time to invite him to know me.
Gino flew us out to Palm Springs for the week for a blended family vacation. He bought his daughter Mariah along, who's annoying as sh*t. Spoiled little bitch too. She's only 2 years younger than me and was driving me crazy with her brattiness. Mama noticed and didn't leave me alone with her too long because she knew my mouth was ruthless when I was pissed. I didn't worry about her too much though because she mainly lives with her mom and only sees her dad once a month. But other than that, It was so fun being all exclusive with the influence of Gino's money. Mama kept reminding me this is just fun and not to get attached to this. She said as cool as he is, he's not someone she sees herself committing to in the long run.
I kept it to myself at the time but I thought she was crazy. Gino was fine, rich and treated her like a queen, so I was just like, why is she tripping. The whole time we were on vacation, I was trying my best to not stare at him or else I would make it obvious I was attracted to him. But when we all went to the beach and I seen him without a shirt... It was a wrap, I was absolutely smitten. Gino kinda looks like Jason Momoa. The Khal Drogo version from Game of Throne with his shiny black hair and beard, nice olive skin, hazel green and gold flaked eyes and chiseled muscular body.
I use to find any excuse to try to talk to him. I would act all polite like I was really interested in a future with him in it. My mom took it as a sign of me wanting her to settle down, so she kept him around more often. But in all honesty, I just wanted more details about him so I had something to fantasize about later. I really didn't need him to be my daddy I'm grown and we good over here with all that. He was just so fine to me.
After a couple of weeks of feeling this way about this man, I realized I had a crush. I've never had one before. I found all the boys my age stupid and not worth my time. I've never been boy crazy or that girl who would put a boy's name in "yellow hearts" or some mushy idolization. But watching the way Gino interacted with mama, had me craving for that type of attention.
You see, Gino was all man and knew how to take care of a woman. He catered to my mom and would try to get her any materialistic thing she wanted. When holidays would come around he would fly us out to exclusive places or send many gifts to our house. I mean he did have his flaws, and I could tell he was starting to get on mama's nerves. I knew for a fact she was getting ready to put him on the chopping block. This had me worried about how I was gonna keep him around. Not that we needed him or his money or the things he gave us, but I liked being spoiled.
Though my mama wasn't wrong for wanting to cut him off, because Gino was a bit of a brute, and had a lack of manners that made mama cringe sometimes. His mouth was foul and when he was really tripping, he would show up to the house high and drunk, demanding sex from her. But my thing with mama is you can't be forgetting that Gino is a whole thug and wasn't used to woman who was as self-sufficient as she was.
I found myself playing peacekeeper between them a lot of times when things would get heated. It's always Gino crossing the line and coming at my mom like she is one of these hoes out here. But I also feel like mama can be a bit of an antagonist and doesn't know how to not let things blow up.
Anyways their relationship went on like this for over six months until Gino up and left after an incident I caused over eight months ago.
