Problems
Today is the day that I send in the troops. Which consists of me and the other vampires. We are already gathered at the edge of the town, ready to strike.
"Okay everyone, exactly as planned. If they fight, kill them. If they run, kill them. Don't stop until we have taken the city. Does everyone understand?"
*YESSSSSS!!!!!
I nod at my people, and give the signal to attack. I rush forward, staying quite. When I get into town, I go straight to the governor's building, wanting a quick win.
I sneak into the building and see an old guy, drinking something. It smells like alcohol, so I just decide to walk in. He sees me, but doesn't react, so I just sit in front of him.
"Mr.Governor, I've come to ask you for your immediate surrender of your city. If you don't surrender, we will kill everyone that we can. If you surrender then we will spare most of you from an extremely painful death. What do yo say, Mr.Governor?" He just stares at me, not reacting in the slightest. "Tell me, Vampire. Why would I submit to you?"
My eyes widen, shocked he even knew about me. Now my eyes narrow. 'This is suspicious, isn't it? He shouldn't be so calm if he knows about me.'
The governor downs his drink, and stands slowly. He grins at me, and it is quite the grin. It seems primal, and animalistic for some reason. I stand up opposite of him, ready to attack.
"If you don't surrender, I will just kill you then," I say while swiping my hand at him. He ducks easily, and punches me right in my face. I fly back, crashing through the doorway. I look at him, shocked.
All of a sudden his body contorts, and I hear his bones breaking. He starts to grow taller, and his appearance changes drastically. Once he is done, looks at me, and I feel dread. He seems to be a mix between man and wolf. 'Shit, a werewolf,' I think.
I send a telepathic message to all of my people to retreat. I have no idea if he is the only one here or not. I back up slowly, unsure of what he is capable up. I have no idea if he is stronger than me. From his demeanor, I'd say he is quite confident in his strength.
I stare at him, daring not to blink. Out of nowhere he vanishes. I jerk back, baffled by this development. "Ahhhhhhh," I scream suddenly, feeling something clamp down on my shoulder, piercing me to the bone. I look, and the wolf has me by the shoulder. I also feel his arm run through my stomach. I looj down and grimace.
All of a sudden he shakes me violently, tearing into me. I grit my teeth, and jab my right hand over my shoulder, claws fully extended. The wolf was obviously not expecting that, and he died quickly. A hand through the brain would pretty much kill anything, I would think.
The only issue now, is the fact that my entire body feels like it's on fire. I stumble, and fall to the ground, gasping in pain. 'Why does it hurt so much,' I think. 'I could have sworn my pain tolerance was extremely high, given my past.' I groan, unable to move much.
All of a sudden Melissa is there, picking me up and running with me. She is holding me close, and being very protective. And then, from one moment to the next, I feel as if we are free falling. Melissa lands gracefully, and takes off in a full sprint.
I weakly look around as best I can, and my heart fills with dread. There are werewolves everywhere, watching us. It's as if they knew we were coming. It's as if, this was a trap.
The weird thing is, none of them chase us. They are just letting us leave even after I killed the governor. I grit my teeth in anger, realizing that I've been played. He was a decoy, most likely. I was too arrogant, thinking that me and mine were the only ones with the favor of a god. Apparently I was wrong.
After a few minutes of running, I see my city. Melissa runs me to my house, and puts me on a table. She is extremely worried for some reason.
"My Lady, we have to extract the venom from your wounds. Please be patient with me." I hear her words, but my mind is numb. 'What is she going on about? I feel pretty good,' I think. I see her lower her head to my wound, and she starts sucking on my blood. Instead of swallowing it though, she spits it out.
I frown at her, and open my mouth to reprimand her, but she is already sucking on my wound again. This time is different though. This time it hurts.
*AHHHHHHHHH!!!
I scream out, unable to hold back my reaction. My body arches up, and I start to spasm. Soon multiple hands are holding me down, keeping me glued to the table. I snarl at them, losing my mind to my instincts. I see that bitch lower her head again to my shoulder, and I try to bite her, but I fail.
I feel unimaginable pain again, like my bones are shattering, and then reforming. I try to scream again, but instead I choke on my own blood. My head is cloudy now, and I feel my body lose strength. I try to move one more time, but then, I knew no more.

Shane_Dalton Sorry for the wait. I had to think about this for a bit before I decided on a path. In the next chapter, more shall be revealed. The main reason why I took longer is because I needed to update my writing style a bit, so I've been doing more writing for other books. And I've read a lot more books as well.
