Chapter 12: Samurai Battle!
So, Harem won out, I understand everyone's concerns with the Harem choice as most stories lose focus and start to rapidly accumulate girls with no character development while the story takes a backseat.
Don't worry too much, as the romance aspect of the story won't take place for some time and the MC is still only fourteen. The harem aspect probably won't start till after the Kanto arc ends.

I sent out Nidoran first so that she can gain experience in battles.
"Hehe, interesting choice!" said Samurai
"This is her first battle, but don't go easy on us!" I replied
"Alright let's begin!"
{Nidoran!}
She nearly jumped from fright,
{Calm down! It's Alex! Your trainer!}
She looks back at me while I nod at her rapidly.
{This Pinsir is about as strong as you, do be careful!}
{Start off with a Supersonic!}
"Nido!" It shouts while giving out a wave of confusion.
"Pinsir, getaway!"
It's too late as supersonic hits it's mark,
{Follow up with a toxic!}
"Pinsir, use Focus Energy!"
Pinsir starts to glow an orange hue and focuses on the target.
The confusion Pinsir had worn off just as the toxic arrives, allowing it to quickly dodge out of the way!
"Use Vicegrip!"
Damn! Pinsir quickly arrives by Nidoran's side and delivers a powerful Vicegrip!
"Critical Hit!"
Nidoran screeches from the attack and I quickly tell her to use toxic while she is still in its grip.
The attack works, infecting Pinsir with a status effect!
{Follow up with Double Kick to escape its grip!}
Nidoran quickly changes its stance while Pinsir is still flinching from the unexpected toxic and uses the opportunity to kick each of it mandible escaping the Vicegrip!
Too bad, it doesn't do much damage because of rivalry!
"Pinsir go for Seismic Toss!"
Damn! Time to fight like a little bitch!
{Nidoran! Time to use Supersonic again!}
Nidoran quickly responds using supersonic on Pinsir again allowing the attack to stutter, causing Pinsir to trip and hurt itself in confusion.
"Get up, Pinsir!"
{Hehe! Quick spam Tail Whip!}
Nidoran grin at me and proceed to spam Tail Whips at Pinsir, lowering its defense!
Hehe, there's a reason she's poison type! Because she's toxic!
....
.....no..? Alright, fine..!
"Pinsir, that's it, get up!"
Pinsir proceeds to steadily get back up, until I tell Nidoran,
{Quick, Double Kick!}
Hehe, Nidoran kicks him while he's down, not letting him respond!
Truly despicable! {Finish him, with Bite!}
Nidoran lowers its jaw while charging towards Pinsir to deliver the final attack, when suddenly,
"Pinsir, Harden!"
Fuck!
Nidoran bites down only to hurt its own jaw!
"NiiiDoO!?"
"Bind!"
Pinsir rapidly responds by griping Nidoran in its mandibles once again!
"Didn't you learn last time?! Toxic!"
"Oh no! Pinsir!"
Nidoran responds by using it point-blank once again, making it a 4x damaging effect over time!
"Brick Break!"
Pinsir uses Brick Break while holding onto Nidoran trying to pummel it down before it faints!
"Keep going Pinsir! She's almost down!"
Damn! Oh I know! "Use Growl!"
Hehe, I use growl to lower its attack by one stage while it continues to pummel Nidoran!
This battle is a battle of attrition, who will faint first? Nidoran while continually being pummeled or Pinsir with the stacked toxic damage?
"Hold out for a little longer!" We both yell at our Pokemon!
Soon enough the battle comes to an end with Pinsir slowly loosening its grip on Nidoran while Nidoran falls to the ground collapsed.
Nidoran slowly stand back up with its front legs while Pinsir stands firm with shaky legs!
The battle is almost over when suddenly purple bubbles radiate from Pinsir shell causing him to callapse into the ground!
Nidoran takes the chance to shaker stand up its hind legs to show I defiance!
Nidoran wins!
"Haha! Great Job Nidoran!"
Samurai smiles while withdrawing Pinsir, "That was definitely the best battle I've had so far!"
"Haha! I agree!"
I go to speak out again when,

What a great item! I should use it on Nidoran, so when she becomes Nidoqueen she will have the hidden ability Sheer Force! Rivalry really showed me it was lacking this battle! I could only win with cheap tricks!
