Chapter 60: Hunter
I woke up to Megan being gone. I went to the Kitchen, Miya and Tony were making food while Sydney was sitting playing a card game with Logan. I looked out back and Maze wasn't there and neither was her leash. We sat down and played cards and ate breakfast.
"Hey, you should go wake Megan up, it looks like the sky is dark so if we are going to go we should leave soon." Sydney said.
"What do you mean, Megan isn't back in the room. I think she took Maze for a walk they probably went out to the barn." I said.
"Let go visit them." Logan said.
"Plus Megan will probably need help feeding all the animals." Miya said.
We all put our dishes away and changed clothes. I went back to the room, Megan's phone was still here on the charger. It was already past 10, the other royals will be here soon, hopefully before the storm. That also means we won't have enough food depending on how long it takes so we'll just have to be careful. I finished changing and meant the others in the living room. We all walked out to the barn together. We looked around not seeing either of them in the barn. Tony went into the hay loft looking for her and we went out and checked the field and walked around the field. They weren't there.
"Maybe they went to the garden or the pond." Tony said.
"Yeah, let go check." Logan said.
We all helped feed the animals, then we left for the garden. We looked around but still could find any sign of Megan or Maze, so we went to the pond. By the time we left the garden it had already started to sprinkle and it was raining when we got to the pond. We search and they were no where to be found like they had just disappeared.
"She probably went back to the house after it started raining. We probably just missed each other." Miya said, we all were a little worried thinking about last night and how she wanted to go. Megan wouldn't do that though she doesn't know her way there to begin with and was going to get more directions from Logan before they left. We all walked back to house we were as talkative as before and we were walking faster because of the rain. When we got back Maze was still not outside. All of us noticed it and we started searching for her and calling Megan's name. None of us got any response, we were just about to go out to the docks when an airplane landed. Sydney and Tony decided they would go check the dock while we helped the other royals unload and take them to there rooms. It felt like it was taking forever but they came back. I saw fear in there eyes.
"She's gone. She took the sail boat." Tony said sounding defeated.
"Well then we have to go after her." I said
The other royals came out hearing us talking.
"What are you talking about?" Lea said.
"Hunter we can't, the water is to ruff and the weather is only getting worse." Sydney said.
"Plus we have no clue where she is or where she's going. We also don't know when she left so she could be anywhere right now." Logan said.
"Oh my goodness, your talking about going out in that weather on a boat. Your insane. If you leave you will die out there then whoever it is your looking for will be dead for real." Lea said.
"She's right Hunter, she stands a chance on her own right now and hopefully she's already made it to an island and isn't out in the water right now. She's smart and knows how to sail so I'm sure she can read the current and that she'll be ok." Logan said.
A man came out of the room he was this set of royals Joker. His name is Chris and his twin Dustin walked out with him. Dustin is the Jack. They are the only 3 royals who came, not all of them were on vacation. Chris and Dustin both were about Tony's height and build. They both had brown hair and green eyes. Lea was the same height and similar build to Miya and has long blond hair with green eyes.
"I hope you guys are right." I said.
The storm had gotten strong while we argued. The shield had come up protecting the island but you could see the rain hitting it hard and the lightning breaking through the dark clouds.
If Megan is out there she doesn't stand a chance, we just have to wait this out then I can go find her.
The storm didn't break or show any signs of it. It kept going as days turned into weeks and weeks into months. Megan slipped my mind except sometimes in my dreams or when I would see her stuff but even that got put into the closet. Lea had begun flirting with me during this time and slowly was breaking me down.
Finally we saw the sun come out. The storm had lasted for 6 months. We are low on all supplies and all of us had grown increasingly close to one another.
We saw pieces of ships and trees floating in the water outside. That was when I realized Megan was probably dead. It's not very likely she got to island to begin with and even if she did what are the chances she had food or supplies or a shelter for animals and the weather. We all knew in reality she was gone. All we can do is look for her and maybe find enough to have closure and a proper funeral for her.
I felt that's he is still out there and alive even though everything is pointing that she wouldn't of been able to and everyone is saying it's not possible. We were connected and had an energy between us and I can still feel it although it's just traces due to it fading but I hope if she is out there that she finds her way back to us.
