With pleading eyes, Yeona repeated, "Please, Iseul. Please."
Iseul still could not believe it. Yeona was right in front of him and was sincerely asking for an apology. He looked past her and saw the thumbs up coming from Chun-Ho and Ha-joon. Even the little girls were following the adults, not understanding what they were cheering him on for.
He returned his attention to Yeona and said, "Of course, Yeona. We can treat each other like the way we used to. We can go back to being." He shrugged and said, "Friends?"
While friendship was better than foes, and technically, back then they weren't in the friendship level either, merely acquaintances, but somehow Yeona wasn't amused.
At the back of her head, she asked herself, 'Why Yeona? What else were you expecting?'
"You seem to look disappointed," said Iseul.
