Chapter 243: Anton's Promise

Stretching himself inside the very small space of the farmer's brick oven, Anton saw an opening going down right at the very end. While it was narrow, it was enough for one man to climb down to. He softly called for Chun-Ho, "Chun-Ho, are you there? Alpha Ronin."

It was utterly dark from where Anton could see. He could tell that the chamber goes further down. Seconds passed he could hear a soft voice answer back, "Boss, you - you are here."

"Of course, I am here. I came as soon as I could determine my way to where you were," responded Anton. 

"Boss, I - never really expected for you to come for me," Chun-Ho expressed. He was so relieved, he felt his eyes ready to water. 

"Chun-Ho, if I won't come for you, I will lose a loyal man to take care of my wife. Remember, you have a duty to fulfill and that's to follow my wife and child around for the rest of your life," said Anton. "How are you?"
