Chapter 57: The Truth Is

It did not come as a surprise that the news of their so-called relationship reached Anton's other sister, Li Wen, who happens to be the wife of Yanmei's distant cousin, Xia Ting.

Naturally, she was also there to attend the baby shower. Li Wen insisted on speaking to them both that they had no choice but to oblige. Li Wen was already seated on a distant table, waiting for them to join her, her children were with the care of Andrea.

As they sat and expected for Li Wen's interrogation, Yanmei observed that Anton clearly respected his elder sister, that she can easily call upon him.

"Yeong," said Li Wen. "This is not a joke. Are you really in a serious relationship with Yanmei? No one messes with a Xia, not even my own brother."
